Crucial 16GB Kit (2 x 8GB) DDR3L-1600 SODIMM Memory for Mac

Works as charm! Was very skeptical before buying this and how would it perform on Macbook Pro Mid 2012 MD101 as official forum recommends only 8 GB max (4Gix2). But after some of the reviews and user experiences who went ahead with 8GBx2, I placed the order.It was easy to replace the RAM and I chose to do it by myself as official service centers charge a lot with tax. PagKis Screwdriver Toolkit was perfect fit, cost was 500.After changing RAM, I can see the performance increase. It's incredibly fast and I can open all Adobe applications at a stretch with no lag. Definitely will recommend to anyone looking to upgrade Macbook Pro. All Job done around 11k and the official service center it would have costed around 18k+

Installed on old Asus P53E laptop with 2nd generation intel core i5 processor and upgraded to windows 10.Though officially laptop was supposed to support only 1333 mhz 8GB DDR3 but motherboard actually supports 1600MHZ 16GB in 2 SO-DIMM slot. Now with this 16GB RAM and 500 GB SDD this is perfectly usable for MS teams and all other day to day tasks.Though 16GB is overkill and 8 would have been sufficent I added pair of 16. The laptop is again usable for school education.

Original as expected, good quality worked like a charm.Initially I was afraid whether it will work on my mid 2012 facbook pro or not, as official maximum RAM supported is 8 GB, but it worked nicely on my Mac.Initially there were some issues regarding sleep awake cycle in efi, but i think swapping the ram solved the issue.Seller is very helpful and explained everything in advance.

RAM is just perfect for my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) OS X El Capitan...I use Parallel Desktop on my mac so I keep switching system from mac and windows 10.... Operating has become real smooth.... I would definitely recommend this product for upgrading mac... Price is also good.... Only drawback with seller is tracking of product shipment is not available, but I must say delivery was quite fast.....

Installed it on my iMac 27" (late 2013). Not difficult at all.But then when I attempted to start up... the dreaded 3 chimes and no Apple logo (symptoms of bad RAM).So again I laid my iMac down, unseated and reseated each module of RAM (including OEM 4GB x 2), and ensured that each was firmly pushed in. Restarted, reset PRAM, and everything's fine so far.Now, with 24GB of functioning RAM and a new Samsung 860 EVO SSD, the iMac is over 300% faster, with almost zero latency. So, awesome!I've bought Crucial RAM before, from the US. When I had a problem with one of their modules in a previous machine, they were so nice about it; sent me a free replacement to India, without requiring me to return the defective module to US. Let's see how Crucial India does, if I have a problem. Will they honour their 'lifetime guarantee' and be as understanding as Crucial US? Only time will tell.EDIT 2021: The RAM failed and damaged my Mac's graphics board. When I contacted Crucial (3 year warranty in India, lifetime warranty everywhere else), I was told that I had been sold the WRONG RAM; that this RAM was not meant for iMacs, and that degraded performance and failures were the expected outcomes. What was sold on Amazon by Anandit Infotech India, Hyderabad, (RAM CT102464BF160B.C16FPD) was therefore MISREPRESENTED as iMac RAM Kit, whereas the Crucial RAM specified for my iMac 14,2 is actually CT2K8G3S160BM (Configuration ID CT4951624).Now I'm stuck with a damaged iMac and a failed RAM kit.

Well they said it is Mac compatible ,but the CAS latency is 11 ns ,it should be 9 ns.

I got it from Innovative E-Store and they were thoroughly professional people .This cost me 7750 .They shipped in no time and got it withing 3-4 days shipped from Tezpur Assam !! This despite the shipping/delivery date was around 10 days ! I got three of the mid 2012 mabook pros and all three have this ram .Earlier purchases were from ibhejo ,although the price was much lower then iBhejo was a disaster in terms of shipping .I had a problem with my third macbook pro which suddenly failed to boot ,even the battery indicator didn't work .Tried a SMC reset didn't work .Took it to iCare (Ample ) HSR in Bangalore when the nightmare started .They took 5 days after promising same day diagnosis and after a lot of escalation gave me the delivery and stated third party ram issue (Crucial is Apple certified ram so no worries there ) .They installed one of the original ram and said 8 gb ram is working !! The apple iCare people in India didn't even know that this model comes with a 4 gb set of rams ! I just walked out of there fuming and reinstalled this ram at home (8x2=16 gigs) and it worked like a charm!!!It is perfectly legitimate to upgrade your ram as it is a configurable part and it will NOT void your warranty .Only the replaced original rams will loose their cover and rest of the warranty remains intact ,if you do you your part and don't do anything silly !Bottom line is Apple authorised service center and particularly ample technologies (iCare) is a rip off looking for opportunities to rip off and harass you as much as they can .Its time apple has its own stores and service center in India

Recently installed Crucial Ram 16 GB along with SSD in my almost died MacBook Pro 2012 Model. Earlier, my MacBook was very slow i.e. took appx. 1.5 mins to boot up. Also, Apps were very slow in response. However, after upgrading both and after using it for more than 1 week writing the review i.e now my almost died MacBook takes only appx. 15 seconds to boot up and Apps specifically iMovie, Browser etc. now open instantly with single click.Highly recommended.Also, great thanks to Seller, who was in constant touch from right after placing the order to make sure that they deliver correct product to me. Kudos
