fun little game
This fits perfectly in my purse and is a good alternative to the kiddo sitting on her phone when we go to a restaurant. You can play against the "computer" or 2 player. And it is actually quite fun.

Fun for kids
This is a fun game for kids. My 2 boys (6 and 8) love playing this together. We have had it since Christmas and so far holding up well. The price is fair.

My son’s real like Tic Tac Toe. We got it for thanksgiving break, they played one hour today. It’s easy to play, the light is bright and We don’t have to waste paper anymore.

Just okay, could use some improvements
My kids love playing tic-tac-toe anytime we go out for dinner, so I thought this would be a great stocking stuffer for them. It is definitely stocking stuffer size, but the product and gameplay itself needs some improvement.First, the digital versions of the game just aren't what I was expecting. You can't play traditional tic-tac-toe, where you and the computer take turns, and first to get 3 in a row wins. This version is different, where every 3rd turn, your first move is taken away and becomes your current move. Basically, you're only allowed to have 3 pieces on the board at any given time. This makes it really hard for my kids to enjoy because the computer wins every single time. If you don't remember which piece you placed 2-3 turns ago, it's impossible to win. It's definitely something that has a learning curve, so I suppose it could become enjoyable over time.Outside of the digital games, this set does come with a manual setup, but there are a LOT of pieces. However, I do like the twist on the game that the stacking pieces offer. With the stacking version, you can overtake your opponents position, which makes it more challenging. You have to think ahead, play your size pieces correctly, and also keep in mind the sizes your opponent still has available. My kids still prefer the traditional game of tic-tac-toe, so we typically just play with all the same sized pieces so there's no extra challenge. But when my husband and I play a quick round, we like the stacking version. I think the kids will learn to like it too, but it will take more practice and patience to figure out a strategy. When playing the stacking version, the larger pieces don't fit well on top of the digital block, so you do have to piece together the manual setup and place it on a flat surface. Even if you play with just the smaller pieces, in a traditional game, the digital block is not magnetic, so the pieces do tend to slide if the block is bumped. I think it would be nice if the tic-tac-toe block and pieces were magnetic.
