I do not know much about berberine boosting fast because I do not have any scientifically proven tools to measure this. All I can say is that i really feel good taking this supplement and it also curbs my appetite to a point where I can keep fasting over 20 hours straight. When I break the fast I usually eat normally without the need to eat extra to compensate - berberine seems to work almost as an appetite suppressor. This definitely works it undoubtedly lowered my blood sugar. How do I know it lowered my blood sugar? I woke up every night at 3 AM which can be a sign of low blood sugar according to my Dr. I stopped taking this and 2 nights later I was sleeping great again through the night.While it does work I won't be buying this again.

I started taking this for help with intermittent fasting but after taking it for about 3 weeks, last night I took itand broke out in hives and started itching like crazy ALL over. My palms got very, very hot and red, along with my face and inside my arms (on the opposite side of my elbows). I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room! I just kept drinking water to try to flush it out of my system and prayed to God for help! Today my joints ache terribly! I believe you’re supposed to consult your physician before you take this product, but how is he supposed to know if you can take it or not? I didn’t even take the recommended 4 capsules since I’m a petite woman - I’m so glad I only took two! I can’t imagine what would have happened if I took all 4…and don’t even try to send this toxic stuff back - they don’t take returns!
