Corda's "Introduction to Aerospace Engineering" is a comprehensive resource for the undergraduate or graduate student of the aerospace engineering discipline. Captures a unique flight test perspective leveraging fundamental Flight Test Techniques (FTTs) as a tool for learning both theory and best practice; a innovative departure from other texts in this very narrow market... the use of FTTs underscoring a distinctive cultural domain of Aerospace Engineering... which up until now has only existed in the few isolated flight test centers. Where other texts concentrate on design and analysis, this book takes the reader to the art and science of flight test as a sub-discipline. This textbook is a must-have reference for any serious flight test professional.

Great 1st book for any aerospace enthusiast
I graduated from MIT Aero/Astro 10 years ago and forgotten most of what I learned. It has been such a pleasure to read through this book and remember the fundamentals of my field. It is written in such a way that you never lose sight of the “why”, why are we learning about this? To fly airplanes and spacecraft higher, faster, farther.

Book printed in Singapore, arrived from overseas and package smelled like insectide, on the book too
Great book, recommend it for those new to aerospace or long established in the field. Excellent overview of the field. However, the copy I got was printed in Singapore (per statement on last page of text) and the package stank of sweet smelling perfume or insecticide. I had to toss the box in our recycling bin outside the house, the smell permeated the room in minutes. There is a residual odor on the book.

Good but intense aerospace reference
The title is misleading as this is a profoundly technical book from the start. It's also a huge tome. I need specific technical aerospace information as a reference as I write a book on test pilots, but this information is far too dense to be of practical use.

Great printed words, awful bound pages
The content of the book is great. I can tell I will be using this book a lot. I hope it holds together because the spine broke the first time I opened the book.
