Perfect for new nursery starters
The perfect story to help little ones get used to the idea of going to nursery. Talks about all of the new routine they’ll be about to enjoy.

Great book for nursery starters
My daughter loved this book. It’s really good for explaining nursery to young toddlers that are apprehensive. My daughter also did this book at nursery so she was already familiar with it.

A great introduction to nursery for young children
This is a great picture book to introduce children to starting at a nursery and exploring a typical routine to help prepare them. The story has very clear colourful pictures and shows lots of exciting activities that could happen at nursery throughout the day. It identifies that you might feel nervous or scared but explains that there will be adults that will look after you. This is such a useful book to read with my son who is starting playgroup in January. He has really enjoyed talking about the pictures and he is excited to be a 'big boy' and go to 'school' like his sister. There are lots of lovely duscussion points along the story: What do you like doing? What are the children doing here? Which foods do you like?At the end of the book there are some helpful tips for parents. Lots of useful things like trying not to be on a rush and not to keep popping back! As an Early Years teacher this is such good advice although as a parent very hard to follow when they are calling you back!!This book is part of a lovely series with other titles being 'Time to Share,' 'Time to Make Friends,' 'Time to Tidy Up.' I'll definitely be looking out for these to share with my son.We were also sent a lovely sticker chart encouraging all these early life skills!

Simple eye catching book, perfect for little ones
I was impressed with the bright illustrations, simple child friendly language. Prompts to encourage early language through simple questions, or choose to focus simple text or straightforward everyday experiences, in play groups/pre schools and nurseries as seen in illustrations. Perfect too for the youngest of children from around their second birthday.Having worked in the Early years sector for a few decades I can say it’s an excellent book.
