Q: This says for glass only. Any ideas on an opener for plastic, like mayo jars?

I've only opened glass jars. But I'll give it a try on my next mayo jar and see how it does.

Q: How wide is the largest lid it can open?

It didn't work on my lids and I returned it a few months ago. I don't think it fit on my 10 or 12 oz. relish jar.

North Carolina, United States. But don't buy this. These are no longer advertised.
