This bathtub drain trim set was very easy to install, even for someone without much plumbing experience. The instructions were clear, and all the pieces fit perfectly without hassle. The quality looks fine and the finish is clean, giving my tub a refreshed look. So far it works as expected with no leaks or issues. I took off one star only because the material feels fairly standard and not super heavy-duty, but for the price and convenience, it’s a solid and reliable choice.

I’m really impressed with this drain. It was simple to install, especially with a drain wrench.I didn’t use the rubber ring that came with it. I learned in the past that they don’t always seal good enough. Instead I just used a thick ring of plumbers putty and snugged the drain down good and tight without over tightening.Installing the little spring ring for the stopper added a bit of anxiousness to things because you have to set it down in the drain and screw the stopper through it into the drain body. Since my hand was too big to fit down where the ring went I had to use a pair of needle nose pliers being careful not to lose it down the drain. But, in the end it all worked out.The drain is awesome looking and seemed to be quality built.I tested the stopper and it functioned perfectly.I would definitely recommend this drain if you are looking for a replacement for your bathtub drain and would buy this one again in the future if the need arose.

Due to an extremely poor seal, the water seaps through the drain and ultimately the tub is left with no water for my kids to bathe in after just minutes of filling. This has been the case since the day we installed this drain plug but at first it was a slow seepage and we'd be able to get kids cleaned up and out of tub in 10 or so minutes before the water would drain to nothing left. The sound it makes as it's slowly seeping through the seal of the drain sounds like that of a lawn mower running! I literally thought our neighbor was out mowing at 9pm one night when I initially started hearing the noise. Now, I feel we are just wasting water all together when trying to fill the tub because the seal just doesn't work at all Terrible product. Due to buying this product in advance of our bathroom remodel, we have passed the eligible return period so we're stuck with this junk until we find an alternative. Buyer beware - I wish we would've stuck with the original style drain stopper!
