BearX Intense Ready to Shoot Crossbow Package with Scope, Quiver, Bolts, Cocking Rope, and Wax

I was very impressed with the whole package. It is a heavy duty crossbow. Pros, fast 400 fps, accurate, safety items anti dry fire feature, good trigger. Cons, fairly heavy,cocking is very physical, biggest problem is the scope. I will be replacing. Amazon sells the same scope for 29$. Need I say more. Lastly is the bolts that come with the package suck. First arrow came out of the target with no tip. I did buy different ones that stay together. The price point is the attraction however plan on getting a new scope if you are using it to hunt game with. Edit I have now had this crossbow for a month or so and have a few comments. After shooting the crossbow around 200 times the bow string failed badly. It became unusable. Called the people at bear and was told the string and cable were not under the warranty. They did say they would send me a new string. That would last another month. Also learned that installation of string and cable have to be done by an archery shop. I have found a shop that specializes in the string and cable replacement however they just manufacture the string and cable. I have ordered a set and will edit the outcome when I get them replaced The set I ordered is waxless and waterproof which is great. Closest archery shop 70 mi one way!Last update another month has passed. My waxless string/cable never happened.After almost a month later I called to check on the string/cable and found out the waxless features are only for compound bows.Ordered from 60 X archery and 3 days later had the string/cable and Sportsmans warehouse installed in about 15 minutes. I like the quality way better then Bears string. Can consistently hit 6” bullseye at 50 yds.

I recently purchased the Intense crossbow. I am not an expert by any means. I took it right out of the box, mounted the scope and the stirrup and in just a few minutes with only a few adjustments, I put 3 bolts in a 1 inch group at 20yrds. I moved to 40yds and put 3 in a 2 inch group. It's kind of heavy but to me it ads stability and durability. I read other reviews that discounted the quality of the scope but I found it accurate and easy to adjust. I added a few dampeners to counter the noise and vibration and it performed awesome. I'm going to sight in on 50 and maybe 60yds next. I can't wait!!! Awesome product! Very impressed with Bear Archery. Even the cooking rope with the sled was relatively easy. Don't pass this up!

I had to send my first one back because the string broke right away now I got my second one and there is a little droplets of water inside the scope the optic very low quality

It was easy to assemble, it’s fast and very accurate! I have no complaints, this is the best cheap crossbow I’ve owned, very impressive for the price, has nice trigger pull too,update after two seasons it’s still wonderful, fast powerful and accurate! Best bang for buck, going to buy a second just incase something happens and the price point is great! Finally a quality product with a affordable price, taken 4 deer all quick and fast

Seems like a quality product and you can’t beat the price.Scope not so good but for the price I can’t complain.Shot it about 20 times to sight in.Not as noisy as the Barnett we had.A little on the heavier sideBut you don’t get the recoil like most crossbows.Top crosshairs on scope is good out to about 30 yards.We only use it for ground hunting or checking out a new spot.Have a Bear compound bow for 15 years with no problems that I still use most everyday .Costumer service is easy to get a hold of even in hunting season.

I recently purchased this crossbow due to all my compounds decided to have all kinds of porblems this year . I’ve owned a crossbow a time or two but they are no where compared to this one ! Shoots as advertised sighted in with a few clicks . Anihalathed my target. Bag with first shot messed up fletching on two of the three arrows but over all one mean crossbow , Remever to lube up eveytime 10-15 shots

This replaced old school crossbow, when I decided to start Blind hunting. It's compact, fast and accurate! NOT cheap, but less expensive than a lot of comparable crossbows. At $1500 I'm not trying to seduce my prey, I just get a fair shot with an ethical kill. I trust all my other BEAR products so I went with this and I'm glad I did. Just a note: In the pic, the quiver is facing forwards. It is totally removable, and can face bolts to the rear. this is my set-up so the bolts are handy for a follow-up shot if needed. I also upgraded to the TenPoint Pro Elite 400 Alpha-Brite Lighted Carbon Crossbow Arrows 20" .003" bolts because they work.TADA!

Purchased this for my husband as a birthday gift and he shot it one time and the strings broke while trying to draw it, even though there was no signs of bad strings!! we had to go and get it restrung before even being able to use it. Other than that it’s wonderful! No assembly was needed other than sighting it in and adjusting it for his liking. Overall quiet and has great power,
