I am a retired cabinetmaker and I make everything , well , almost everything. I have been intrigued with the rustic cabin style and when we are dealing with logs , tenons and forstener mortise holes this is a whole new world. I was happy to find exactly what I was looking for at Amazon. the parts were packaged well and came out of the box sanded and ready to finish. I did a light sand with 320 over all parts before assembly and a bit after . Two coats of satin latex polyurethane on the legs and underside of the top matches the new log bed perfectly. Latex polyurethane doesn't change the natural color which I wanted the natural look. Solvent based urethanes darken the finish a bit with the amber effect. This is a true find , you have to order this. Take your time with assembly . Start in the morning with a rested clear brain. Use a bit of glue in each joint and a carefully directed screw , see directions. You need an extension for your screwdriver bit and a #2 square drive bit to make this job easier. Use the glue and screws provided for best results. Glue all joints but not too much . This is just what I was looking for and I have had excellent results.

Highly recommend.. Bench is awesome, costumer service is top notch A+++++ best I've ever had.. We had a leg that came damaged and was unusable. I sent pics 📸 and described it. They responded in less than an hour and we had a replacement leg in a week. Just got it put together last night. LUV it ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 We still need to stain it and can't wait to see the wood knots, grains pop in all their naturalness. We will mostly use as a table, part time extra seating. But it's an amazing addition to out lake home!! 🤩🤩🤩

This bench was exactly what I needed for our classroom! I greatly appreciated the sellers making it a shorter length so it would fit our needs. Shipping time was cery reasonable. It's sturdy and the legs are angled so tipping isn't a concern. It has a couple light scratches in the top already, but 3 and 4 years olds are tough on furniture, so no surprise there. It wasn't too difficult to put together, but I would suggest having someone with some experience help. I looked for a long time because I had a very specific idea of what I wanted and I am so glad that I have it now!

I bought this bench because I loved the rustic look. To be honest, I was unhappy with the one I received for a few reasons and got frustrated when we couldn’t get it put together to use outside. We’ve had it a month, and we finally were able to have a family member come over to secure the legs. He had a powerful drill that forced the screws in (after removing the stripped ones). I had a difficult time getting the three inch screws all the way in. The directions weren’t clear to me at all. I feel as if the mold on my bench took away from the beauty, and I have a knot that sticks up and is sharp and worried about it snagging clothes and my bench measures just 13 inches wide. I will say, I am a lady who isn’t very handy with a drill. Apparently, neither is my husband, as we stripped the screws and they were only partially in.The good news is, whenever I wrote to this company, they were extremely prompt with a helpful reply. When I said we didn’t know where the screws should actually go, they gave step by step instructions with clear photos. When I mentioned the mold, and knot that poked up, they explained to me this is bluing and is perfectly normal and many people love this look of knots even if the poke up because that’s what a live edge is. They explained this is what rustic means. I do love the rustic look, but I do think some slabs are more beautiful than others.To sum things up, I think this is a great bench if you are handy and strong and if you don’t mind the bluing. If you need to ask them anything, they will respond quickly. I was happy with their customer service.

This by far brought my outdoorsy decor vibe into the cold office. It's a beautiful slab and stain. Everyone loves sitting on it and it just looks awesome. It comes partially put together enough to still be able to be shipped. I must caution those that have absolutely no knowledge on using a drill so you can fasten the screws in and the proper angles then you may struggle. It's not that extensive, there is some pre-drilled holes and they send a printout with some directions. I recommend if you know someone who has some basic handy skills to have them help. It takes about 10-15 minutes to get it evened out. Once you have it together though you'll love it! I'm considering getting another, maybe even the 4ft for home.

The bench looks like good material. I wasn’t aware that I had to drill holes. Installation is difficult.

I like it’s real wood made in the US. They even ship a bottle of good US made wood glue with the screws. It takes a little time and skill to get this together right. I’m letting ours sit overnight for the glue to dry.Tools- you’ll need a rubber mallet or dead blow hammer, a #2 square drive bit in a power drill driver. You could use a hand screwdriver but it will take forever to drive those long screws they provide.Overall, I would’ve felt better if I paid $100 for this. At least money stays in US.

I consider myself reasonably handy, but when I get a product that has a bottle of wood glue included with it for assembly, I'm immediately skeptical.The bench is beautiful and matches our porch well, so I didn't want to return it. I will update my review when my friend, who I'm paying, gets this together and returns it to me. For what it's worth, I would have paid the company a fair amount extra to deliver it assembled.
