What Gauge Wire is recommended to the batteries?

Wire leads on the Genasun unit are very small gauge.

I have a 250w panel hooked to a 48v lead acid golf cart. Its overcharging the batteries. Float setting hits, then it starts charging again later

Do you have this device and it is overcharging? I have a 110 W SunPower panel on my cart with the Genasun 48V to 12V and keeps my batteries charged and I not had any overcharged issues since installing them in May of this year.

I have a 100 watt 12 volt panel from NewPowa mounted to the roof of my cart. Will this panel be sufficient and what is the charge time?

I use a 300w panel. Keeps my 48v cart charged almost all the time. I plug it in about 4 times a year. 100 watt is probably not enough.

Can you use this on 36V systems?
