Gave me a surprise, but all seems well
The last time I used Sadolin it was nothing like this. It gave me such a surprise when I opened the tin and found this opaque WHITE stuff. I know Sadolin is good so soldiered on with it, treating two garden benches and the slats of two garden gates while we still had dry weather.It irritated me at first because this was rather like painting with milk. It left white film everywhere. Anyway I painted, then finished and went for a walk.When I got back, was pleased to notice any whiteness had disappeared and the varnishing looked good.But what this varnish doesn't do, is deepen the shade of the wood. That can be a very good thing if someone doesn't want any colour change. Or it can be a slightly disappointing thing if you are expecting that rich golden glow when painted on, as I always used to get with other polyurethane based varnishes. The wood you paint will stay more or less the exact shade it was before varnishing.One good thing -I could put on a second coat later that same day!It was also rather bizarre (I can never adapt to water based varnish so my bad!) -to have to wash out the brush in water.I have yet to test durability and weatherproofing after 2 coats. Time will tell, and a bit of winter weather but I generally have confidence in Sadolin products so I'm sure it will do well.

Good product for internal wood doors
Good product for internal doors. The colour in the oak doors was nice and pale afterwards..no yellowing. Needed less than anticipated per coat as quite thin. Needed 3 coats. Price better than some alternatives. Satin had a nice subdued sheen.

No colouring over painted surfaces.
Lovely coverage, used in hvlp spay gun with 1.7mm nozzle. Three coats,light sanding before finale coat. I've always undercoat, use good emulsion to what ever colour I want then seal in with poly. More than happy with the results.

Very good product!
Very happy with this product. I’ve been sanding down old oak furniture to remove the orange tinge and this has been perfect to protect it. It’s been so good I’ve decided to do the rest of the furniture so now ordering more!

Good quality Varnish
Really happy with the quality of this varnish. I used it to re-finish some floorboards in a high traffic area and so far it's holding up really well. Dried quickly (especially important for floors!) and was easy to clean the brushes afterwards. Would buy again.
