Children assume bizzare things when they get to hear from friends and watch clips online. It is remarkable how the author explains ideas which would otherwise put the person in a rather uncomfortable state. Highly recommended.

Excellent! Full page color pictures. Very useful for talking about with children. The concepts covered include differences between boys, girls, men and women. How children are made. Appropriate and inappropriate touch.Useful for young children and even older ones who are just beginning to get curious. It's important to speak of these things within the family than from learning it from equally perplexed friends or from the internet.Will need to get next set of books however to cover puberty and the changes that come with it.

Wish I had come across this a lot sooner. Talks about the subject in a very sensitive, responsible, easy to understand manner. Simplifies the language for parent and child.

I bought this for my granddaughter---she came home from school with weird ideas and thinking herself bad and guilty. I bought the book and we read it together, and I have to say the facts were presented so simply and non-coyly, that she felt no embarrassment at all. There are diagrams and everything spelt out. The proper words are used for the genitals and she felt no sense of shame at all.I strongly recommend this book for children up to and beyond the tweens. This is a one of its kind book. Grab a copy for young folks in your families.

A wonderful, friendly, approachable way to teach your young child what they need to know about reproduction, families, and sexual safety (good touch/bad touch). It holds off from going into too much detail about puberty and other adolescent issues.

Must-buy for parent of every 4-year old. Or 5 or 6. Covers a wide variety of topics from differences between girls and boys, how babies are born, good touch and bad touch. Makes discussing these topics with kids easy and cool.

Pictures and illustrations are making the book easy to understand. Can be discuss with children and they also can do self reading.

Great book. My kids are 4(F) and 6(M). We started with another known book "Amazing you". I want to proceed with this book when both are a year older. My daughter is extremely curious about body. Asks all the right and logic questions and I do not see any reason to avoid them or give 'half-pregnant' answers. Many reviews are already there, so let me add more content for parents to decide if it meets their expectations. After the age of 8, one can proceed with Usborne's What's happening to me for boys and girls and after 11-12, the author of It's not the stork has a book called Let's talk about sex/It's perfectly normal (content is same for both titles).
