Personally I am no fan of Minecraft, however as a Part-time parent, it is a part of the cultural zeitgeist, So support it I must. Additionally with the announcement of Jack Black and Jason Momoa's involvement in the franchise, I will further support the live action release. I came across this creepy fella, and placed the order, not really knowing what to expect. I was surprised and pleased to see it was larger than expected, standing at an impressive foot tall, and being produced by Mattel, although it is made by MOJ ANG, (Not sure if that's Minecraft's affiliate, or Mattel's) At any rate, the coloring and fur texture are reminiscent of Happy Meal Toys, I was kind of hoping for a flocked effect on top of that, like Moss Man from the He-man line of the eighties. The clunky gears or lack there of in the joints were also on the disappointing side. By far, the handling of the package by the warehouse resulted in the most damage. A crushed corner and rips on the cardboard packaging make it a far cry from a collectors Item. The whole point however was to gift it to my son who grew up on the game, so the packaging won't be salvaged... In Minecraft.
