Why did you pick this product vs others?:I love this popcorn machine! Bought another popcorn machine from Walmart, and extremly cheap, broken, and paid more than I paid for this very great popcorn machine. Great well made unit, works flawlessly!!! Makes Great Popcorn!! Commercial unit worth every penny!! Great for bar or resturant. 1 batch fills the entire bottom at about the 6 inches deep and it only takes about 3 min! All kernels get popped, no burnt kernals !!! Perfect every time!!!

So the goods, popcorn tastes great, pops most of the kernels and keeps it sorta warm. It's best if you buy the prepackaged popcorn with the oil and salt and it makes the best. You might alter the salt to taste as we found it to be a bit too much salt, so we cut it to about 3/4 of the amount in the package. We also like butter so we melt that separately. The bad, the bottom doesn't fit real well along the edges and popcorn seeds, hulls and crumbs get in there and there's no easy way to get them out. You'd either have to lift and tilt the entire machine, use a vacuum or take the screws out of it and remove the bottom to access the sides, and that might open a whole new ball of wax for cleaning. The popping bowl has to be unplugged, taken off the hinges to remove it to really clean it well. It would be nice if that were easier, but it's not terribly difficult to deal with. All in all, it's a good popper and as addicts it keeps us in fresh popcorn!

This machine is incredible. it makes popcorn that tastes and smells just like we were in a theater. Easy to use. Warm up, add oil, add popcorn, turn on stirrer and warmer. Done! In a few minutes we have perfect hot flavorful popcorn. Clean up is a snap. All it needs is a damp cloth with some ammonia to wipe down the inside and the pot. We stay away from cleaners with scents as we're concerned it might flavor the next batch.After the pot is emptied and cools some we add a little water to it and let it set as it makes cleaning easier. This machine makes the best popcorn with those glazes. We use it weekly for our movie nights with friends.

I purchased the popcorn machine for my GreatGrand kids for their outside movie night.They loved it.

This worked for one month. The first 3 times I used it were great. Popcorn was good, the unit was easy to use and while it was difficult to get clean, I expected that just from the type of machine it is. However, the 4th time I went to make popcorn, I turned the light on, and then turned on the pot heater and heard a click and everything turned off and will not come back on. I filed a return on Amazon, but no one has addressed this issue. I'm stuck with a popcorn machine that won't function in any way after 1 month and minimal use. Buyer beware.Update: Company responded to my email and sent a replacement unit. I haven't set it up yet but I appreciate the quick response to the problem.
