All-new Amazon Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition Case, Lightweight and Water-Safe, Foldable Protective Cover - Fabric

This case was purchased as part of a Kindle Signature Edition Bundle. The case looks really nice and the Kindle fit easily and perfectly into it with no issues. The cover closes firmly and protects the screen while being easy to open, as well. I like the feel of the cloth cover and it does make the Kindle a little easier to hold, in my opinion. The literature says it is water resistant, so hopefully that is true, but lets be honest, it's a cover and it just needs to provide a little protection and easy of carry to the Kindle. It does that and it looks nice and feels well-made and secure on the Kindle. What else can you ask for?

I lost my old paperwhite, which was my absolute favorite of my many kindles. I compared models and costs and settled on this one and I am so glad I did. The battery lasts for several weeks and I read a lot. It's so lightweight and comfortable to handle. This paperwhite is fast, a big change from my old faithful and I'm loving it. I have the charging dock, but like I said, the charge lasts so long, I haven't used it much. Still, it is a nice option to have. I leave it unplugged and use it as a stand until my kindle needs charged. I haven't regretted buying this for a second. It's worth every penny it cost me. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves to read.

I've been a constant reader all my life, and it wasn't a hard leap to purchase the very first version of the Kindle, and various others along the way, culminating in this incredible Paperwhite Signature Edition. The battery has greatly evolved. The auto adjusting light has made reading at night much more comfortable on my aging eyes. The only thing that would cause me to deduct half a star (but round back up to a five) is the lack of the side buttons that were on the Oasis. No matter, all the other features more than make up for this one quibble. That and the fact that I'll never have to feel guilty about clearing off books from my bookcase to make way for new ones ever again. The storage is incredible. Highly recommend.

This is the second Kindle Paperwhite that I have purchased. Have some new features that I had to get used to. The battery life on this is phenomenal weeks instead of days. That said it does take a lot longer to charge it. Once charged though it'll last for weeks. And I am an average reader of about 1 to 2 hours every day. I also like that it immediately opens to the page that I was last on. One drawback is that I haven't found the button that says go to where you can skip ahead and not have the contents we go right to the first chapter or when you get done being able to go to the end so it shows up as read, hopefully that will be corrected with an update

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Pros: I love how this case feels and that it matches my Kindle. It's easy enough to open and close and keeps my Kindle safe when I'm on the go.Cons: After just over 4 months, the trim around the edges is starting to peel, stretch, and fall off, leaving sticky spots around the edges.Overview: I'm not sure it's worth $37 + tax. It looks pretty good (aside from the peeling edges), the texture on the front and back is great, and it can be bought to match your Kindle.

Exceptional: the texture is nice instead of those all-plastic covers that slide around on a table. The cover is light, it is compact, and feels good to the touch. And it works well. At first I bought another type of cover and returned it immediately because it was lacking in these areas. I am very pleased with the Amazon cover. It's still fun to read a book!
