This is the one!
After trying other cases for the iPad Mini, this is the one. Other keyboards had keys that were way too crowded and you’d often make many mistakes. Other keyboards had weird multiple steps to get to a common punctuation mark. And yet other keys had commonly used buttons in odd places on the keyboard that made using it more of pain (Atrek delete button). But this keyboard got the functionality right. At this price point, it’s probably the best keyboard out there for an iPad that’s not made specifically by Apple. It does add a little extra weight, but not much bothered. This is my travel warrior that’s gotten even better. Not to mention it is aesthetically well made to complement the iPad Mini. Lastly, the ability to disconnect from the keyboard and use it in your hands it price. The magnets are strong and fit the iPad like a glove. It’s a great deal for something Apple would definitely charge over $100 for.

This is a great little keyboard
Great little keyboard for the iPad mini! Great protection for the ipad and a wonderful keyboard, that works! Magnetic connection attaches and detaches easily—very strong. The surface texture feels great! Connects to Bluetooth easily and quickly, battery life is outstanding. It will magnetically hold the pencil but a little compartment would have been a better idea. Excellent choice for the iPad mini!

The best keyboard case I have found for the iPad mini!
I looked all over for a functional case that would also allow me to use my iPad mini as an extremely portable laptop. My wife and I are blessed to get to travel a lot and I needed the smallest footprint possible to fit in my luggage. (We really try to travel light because of some of the places that we go.). The keyboard is very light and the case adds the protection that I need. The keyboard connects super easily and will stay connected. Turning it on and off does not cause any problems with the connection. The keyboard is lit which is great and the keys are very responsive. The only drawback is that it does increase the footprint of the iPad, but that is to be expected. It's also a little expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for with this. Definitely worth it! I tested several cases and this is the one. It works great and it is a keyboard case I can recommend.

Best All-Around Keyboard for the iPad Mini!
This HOU Keyboard is great for the iPad mini 6/7. I was never a fan of keyboards that needed to be charged separately from the iPads but the battery on this lasts a long time. It's been 3 days and it's still at 100% (Depending on usage). The best part is the that the keyboard detaches and reattaches magnetically. The smaller keyboard size does not affect me at all. Keys even light up and you can pick various colors at 3 different brightnesses. Unlike those magnetic, levitated iPad keyboard cases, this one also protects the iPad mini on ALL sides. If you have an apple pencil, it can attached to the side magnetically through the case. Probably the only downside is that there's no scroll pad (if you really use one). There's simply no room for it.

Best, most flexible iPad Mini case money can buy, but watch out for older versions!!
This particular model is the best iPad Mini keyboard case that I have ever used. There are quite a few things that make it a standout. For starters, the keyboard layout is 95% standard, and the 5% non-standard are the way they are because of the size of the keyboard. They’ve had to overload - _ + = ‘ and “ so that you have to hit CTRL and 7 8 9 0 ; or / to get those keys. Critically, the keys that are overloaded are spatially where they should be on the keyboard if it had been large enough to accommodate the additional keys. This was the right choice, and makes typing with the keyboard very natural and easy to adapt to. The keyboard itself has a great feel and good backlighting. Really, I haven’t seen another keyboard that is anywhere close to this good at this size. The next thing that makes this case a standout, especially for travel, is the protection and flexibility that the case provides for the iPad. The keyboard detaches esasily, at which point the iPad can be used with the kickstand in portrait or landscape modes. And, the case offers a good amount of edge protection to the iPad itself, without adding a huge amount of bulk. The case was pricey for me. It was around $120 CAD delivered. That is a lot for a no-name Chinese iPad keyboard, but having purchased many, many iPad keyboard cases over the years, it is hands down the best iPad Mini case I’ve ever used.Note that the same company makes older, similar versions of this case. The one that charges with USB C rather than the proprietary charger is worth the extra money and bother to buy.

Near perfect. Probably the best of its kind on the market.
-- UPDATE AFTER 10 DAYS TRAVEL --The keyboard is nice to type on, but it does not stay closed but flaps open, it needed a rubber band to keep closed. The worst feature is the keyboard that requires a flat surface to work on, like a table or a tray. It is impossible to type on with the device on one's lap. With the kickstand open the footprint gets large and it was nearly impossible to use on an airplane folding tray. Returning as it is not fulfilling the usage I needed. Someone should create a keyboard that opens like clamshell and keeps ipad up without a kickstand.-- ORIGINAL REVIEW 4 STARS --The ipad case frame is solid and rugged that would survive a drop. Pencil Pro attaches well. Keyboard is responsive. The whole unit does add weight but it makes a very attractive little computer. The keyboard can be attached flipped backwards and wrap the back so the iPad can be held with the flap folded back without clicking the keys. The only suggestion I'd make is to add some kind of a closure mechanism so the keyboard part can be snapped closed. Nothing holds it and it can simply dangle open. So for travel or while in a bag, I need a rubber band to hold it all together. Possible solution for the maker is to add two small magnets at the corners of the keyboard that would snap to the iPad and stay closed. All in all this item exceeds my expectation for value.
