Is there any way to remove the metal foot pads? I prefer to use the table on its side and would prefer that the metal foot pads weren't there. Thanks!

Mind did not have metal footpads, only plastic corner covers that came right off

I have a printer weighing about 60 lbs. Can this hold static weight about 60 lbs for ever ?

While it can clearly handle some weight we only have appx. 15-20 lbs on it. My guess would be that if the weight is evenly distributed it probably could handle it.
