BEST CONTROLLER FOR THE PRICE, PERIOD!!!
EXCELLENT VALUE FOR THE MONEY!!!Before delving into other details, let me clarify some of the instructions for the operation of the colorful rings around the control sticks:*A SINGLE PRESS of the star button will give you a choice between four (4) MODES. One of these MODES is OFF. The MODES that follow OFF can be described as :1. SOLID COLOR with an ALTERNATE COLOR that "tracks" the direction of your sticks as they're being pushed.2. ROTATING COLOR3. SOLID COLOR + 1 DUAL COLOR*Within each of these modes (except OFF) you can hold the star button down and hit RIGHT or LEFT on the D-Pad to get alternate STYLES within that mode.*You can press UP or DOWN on the D-PAD within any STYLE of any MODE------------------The rest of the instructions that aren't included in the little leaflet that comes with the controller can be found here in the comments.A solid controller, comfortable, slightly textured grip, and absolutely wonderful all-around. Not a single complaint to be made. I picked up mine for $28 on sale here and it came with one month of Ultimate, so basically it was like paying $8 for an amazing controller. I would recommend buying two, just to have an extra in the future because I think these will eventually become more expensive. They're practically giving away what I would consider to be a controller that I would have expected to cost $50 or more.EXCELLENT!!! 10/10

3rd party controllers are actually good
All these years later I still have ptsd from the mad catz controllers/other weird 3rd party controllers of the ps2 and 360 era. I was extremely hesitant buy this one. Those dark days are long gone. This controller feels great. Even better then the regular xbox controller. It feels light weight but durable. Fits well in the hand. Only downside is can see happening in the usb c part of the cord getting lose and damaged. My main concern for gameplay was with FPS games. I tried it with COD, Siege, and apex and it works great. I'm doing way better then I was with regular controller. If you need a new controller and don't want to spend $60 this is a good choice.

Good replacement controller
Bought as a replacement Xbox controller. Works very well. Appreciated the accuracy of the controls, the color, and the solid feel of the controller in my hands. Seems to be a very good value for the price.

I was a single day from making a 5 star review 🙁
[Edit: In the time that this review was being uploaded, I managed to find a fix. I had to enter the stick calibration mode by holding LB+RB+View+Menu until the Xbox button blinks, but instead of calibrating the sticks, you have to press the triggers. Then, upon exiting the calibration (by holding the same buttons again), the triggers should work like normal again. This was an annoying experience, and I was a day from returning it. Now that I've had it for a few more days, I'd like to note some changes I've already noticed with the controller. On the first day of owning it, I noticed that one trigger felt slightly grainy when pressing, hinting that they didn't lubricate it enough. Then, after a few days, I noticed the right stick is slightly looser when moving from the center position. Call it break in, but I don't see it holding up well for competitive play, which, for me personally, this shape doesn't work well for. It's a great casual controller and is very aesthetically pleasing. The durability of the sticks and triggers is debatable, but I'm still keeping it for casual play or when I want to play 360 games on the Xbox.]Long story short, I loved this controller for the few days it worked for me, but unfortunately, there are some significant software bugs in this controller that I can't seem to reverse.I was looking at YouTube comments for this controller, and someone in the comments said you can hold the view+menu buttons to disable the trigger dead zones, so I tried it, and it worked, but now I can't undo it. I tried reseting by holding start/menu and the power button, but nothing, than I held the star button that controls the light, and that did seemingly reset the controller, but it still didn't fix the triggers. I also downloaded the software app, hoping there would be a way to reset the controller there, but to my surprise, the pc and xbox app have almost zero functionality beyond doing a firmware update. I tried the update for the heck of it, and ironically, it broke the feature it specifically said it would fix lol.I've been fed up with stick drift for years, this controller was really a breath of fresh air, and allowed me to play stalker 2 in its weird state, but apparently holding down two buttons can completely, irreversibly change the controller. I guess I'd recommend it, beyond those issues. It feels surprisingly premium in the hand, the vibration motors are very good, if not better than the original xbox controller, the lighting is very pleasing and offcourse the hall effect sensors are great. If I were to give some feedback on the controller:1. Don't support button combos that irreversibly change the controller2. Increase the distance that the triggers move before bottoming out3. Don't release updates that introduce the issue you said you fixed4. Include all button combos and methods to reset, in the manual

8bitdo makes great controllers
If you don't mind a cord, the value of this controller in unbeatable. They get great in your hands, look nice, and the joysticks are smooth. Mine has stood up to more abuse than any Microsoft controller would have dreamed of.If cordless is your thing, 8bitdo makes those, too. Give them a shot. You'll like them or Amazon will give you your money back I think.
