Excellent kit, use this to turn a Pi 5 into a great tiny computer.
This is great. Fits together well. The m.2 NVMe HAT attaches easily and running the little ribbon cable is no problem. NVMe makes a HUGE difference and is the only way you should be running a Pi 5 in most circumstances. 830MB/sec read with a Crucial P3 Plus. Blazing fast, and more stable than USB drives. All external ports are accessible with this case. I like that it comes with the official Pi 5 cooler, at least you know it meets basic quality standards.I did not use the power supply it came with because I had ordered a basic Pi kit from CanaKit and it came with one of their USB-C power supplies. Not sure it includes detailed assembly instructions:1. fit cooler to Pi 52. fit ribbon cable to m.2 HAT3. attach HAT to Pi 5 and attach ribbon cable to Pi 5 (however this works for you)4. Insert long standoffs between Pi 5 and HAT, screw HAT down with black screws, screw Pi up with short standoffs5. Screw short standoffs to bottom of case with black screws6. Screw top of case on with black screws

really gtood kit.
I have used this little computer with an additional NVME drive daily. It is amazing what it can do. Sure it does have limitations, but if you're just reading email, surfing the web, and checking your socials. This is all you need. The wifi doesn't work with windows 11 for some odd reason, so stick with a Linux install. I will be upgrading to the 16G version shortly, and this one will become a NAS drive.

Works great but not with all NVMe drives
This works great, but be careful because I've learned that not all NVMe drives work with the PI 5. I originally bought a 2 TB WE_BLACK SN850X NVMe. It didn't work with this case after hours of experimentation. I filed to return the GreekPi case. Afterwards, I found a blog post that said these WD drives don't work with the Pi 5! It's something to do with the PCIE interface formats or something., I don't understand and I don't want to understand. The blog post recommended Crucial drives. I ordered a 2 2 TB Crucial CT2000P3SSD8 and that works splendidly, and is much cheaper. I cancelled my return request for the case and I'm returning the WD NVMe drive. Hopes this helps.BTW, I used Jeff Geerlings web page's instructions. Recommended...

Not bad if you can live with what it is
On the plus side, this case contains everything you need, except for the RB Pi 5 itself and the SSD. The quality of the case is adequate for the task, so is the power supply, and the heat sink with the spring mount and fan are really good for active cooling. Also, assembly is straightforward. On the down side, and I have to say that I should have noticed ALL of those shortcomings before I ordered, there are two major issues: The first is the SSD peripheral board. The way it is designed, it takes away 10(!) GPIO pins. Other boards, that are also mounted on top of the RB Pi, offer a complete new header on top of the board that is just an extension of the original GPIO header, thus making all GPIO pins available. Yet other boards mount at the bottom of the RB Pi and hence have no such issues. I prefer those as they also don't interfere with the active cooling, as all boards do that are mounted on top of the active cooling, including this one. Unfortunately, even if one were to supply such a superior bottom-mount SSD peripheral board, the case is not designed for that - the RB Pi will come up too high in the case and the connectors won't be accessible. This case only works with the supplied SSD peripheral board. Secondly, this is a metal case, rendering the built in WiFi capabilities non-functional. As I mentioned, the vendor does not hide either one of these issues and I should have studied the offering more carefully. At any rate, I will keep the heat sink with the fan as well as the power supply, 3-D print my own PLA case, and consider the value of the rest my tuition for learning to read product offers more carefully before ordering. And maybe a few of you can take some value out of my learned lesson too.

Excellent case for pi 5
This is excellent case for pi 5 as well as it's come with oreginal cooling fan&sink and the ability to install nvme ssd card.

by far the smallest useable case I have found for a rpi5
the included hat and fan fit and work great, getting about tripple the throuhput on my cheap 2tb nvme drive than the eqivalent setup on my rpi4 that routes the nvme adapter through the usb port. Runs cool and plays videos and movies off my plex server and youtube with no issues or buffering which is something I could not say about the rpi4 mentioned above. I would buy it again.

Everything is perfect
if it's perfect why does it get 4 stars? Because they should have upgraded the fan. The stock raspberry pi fan is too weak, needs a real boost. But the case, hat, and power supply are perfect and I still recommend this item as a 5 star item, but it would push it over the top if they would improve the fan for better heat dissipation.Still great value over the stock raspberry options. Looks very snazzy too.
