The Alpinizmo 45 is a light weight climbing backpack made of 330d doddy and high velocity nylon and is the foundation of this 45 liter Zombie Apocalypse Pak (ZAP). It has a variable setting quick adjust back-panel. There are 2 side compression straps as well as bungee ice axe holders. Internally, there is a hydration bladder envelope and a zippered shelf separating the 2 compartments. Your tent is built into the bottom compartment and is so compact that when stowed you can still put a compressible sleeping bag in with it. This tent-backpack combination weighs just 6 lbs. The built in 2 person ultra light sil-nylon single wall backpacking tent keeps the Alpinizmo 45 ZAP light and mobile. The tent is an ultra light, fully enclosed, single wall tarp tent designed with No See Um mesh base vent panels, a seam sealed nylon bath tub floor, and sil-nylon walls with a single front door. The body of the tent is held up by 4 corner stakes, 2 exterior guy lines and 3 poles. 2 poles form an "A" frame doorway and the back pole, that can be set inside or outside, holds up the rear. Inside there are 2 gear pockets set to each side of the entry. It is extremely quick to setup even while connected to the back pack. It also strikes and stows quickly when you've got to move on.
