Arrived defect free, no issues with getting HDMI signal working on older LED TV. Big improvement over yellow composite signal. No significant issues when playing Gran Turismo 4 (PAL version), can be hesitant to enter B-spec menu in race. I had hoped to be able to use a PC monitor but it only accepts 1080p signals, I like my PS2 but not enough to purchase an expensive upscaler. As a consequence of using the device I have found my AV output socket was bent so it made the insertion a little difficult.

This worked surprisingly well. There's loads of them out there so I bought this one as a shot in the dark, but it's actually made a noteable difference.I appreciate the PS2 has it's limitations, the picture quality is only going to get so good, but for 15 quid this was worth a punt. Any improvement on a 50" inch HD telly is welcomed.Just be aware this only works with PS2 games. You cannot use it to play original PlayStation games.

You get what you pay for I guess. I bought a more expensive version of this that worked great and when I needed another one I thought I'd cheap out a little. Doesn't work. Like at all. No output from playstation detected on TV via various hdmi cables.

Works great and easy to set up as long as you follow the clear instructions. I had to use the 'blind' set up instructions and it still worked perfectly. Was initially nervous as I hadn't ever turned the Ps2 on as I had just bought it from CeX but it worked perfectly and I got it to display first time. Highly recommended as a good cheap option.

Works ok. Don't use the HDMI that comes with it, cheap and dodgy

Product does exactly what I needed it to do. If you need to output your PS2 to HDMI then this is perfect for the job. Output resolution is good and response time seems adequate.Build quality seems good and it's relatively plug and play.The only thing I will add is that you may need to change your PS2 output. If this is the case you will need to blindly navigate the PS2 menu to switch the output mode. Instructions as follows:To change the component video settings blind:Start the console with no disc inserted.Wait 10 seconds to get to the main menu.Press ↓, ╳Wait 3 seconds to make sure you're in the configuration menu.Press ↓, ↓, ↓, ╳Press →, ╳This will alternate between YPbPr and RGB. If this still isn't working I'd suggest finding a composite AV lead and trying that.You should find you get picture now. No fault of the product however, just a quirk of the PS2.
