4.5:- An excellent album
Naglfar are adept at two things: making atmospheric Black Metal, and being unnoticed.Their newest album continues this trend, the music is of consistent and unwavering quality. Aggression and melody compete to draw your ear, and as a whole product, Teras is an impressive and polished creation. It is an album that many pretenders wish they could create, with each song having subtle differences that don't make the listen boring. My only criticism is that the overall high quality makes it hard to pick out individual songs that stand out greatly from the rest. I would recommend buying this album on CD simply to have the whole thing together so you can throw it on and enjoy for the entire runtime. It's not really made to be chopped up into specific songs.Overall, if you like Black Metal you will like this, especially if you have ever liked any of Naglfar's other albums. For those looking for experimentation, look elsewhere.

I was a little disappointed that the CD didn't come in the usual hard plastic case, but on further investigation, a free sew on patch bearing Naglfar's logo had been included - Nice fast delivery and the paper case survived posting = happy little metalhead all round.

Wrath of Naglfar
What we have here is a Melodic Black Metal band who have all but Mastered their craft in this genre. "Teras" is the first full album that I have bought from Naglfar although I was aware of the band. The album is a crushing piece of work! all of the tracks have the cold guitars, bone crushing drums and venom spitting vocals of Black Metal but this holds the melody and thus making it more accessible to a wider pool of listeners, the production of the album is top notch and crystal clear. The band are not breaking into new ground, they have their feet firmly rooted to the ground and why would you want to change such a great sound?I would recommend this band to anyone who has an intrest in Extreme Metal or is a fan of Old Man's Child.Best Tracks-An Extention of His Arm and Will-Bring Out Your Dead-Come Peridition
