Lifetime Kayak Hatch Bucket Storage Container Bin Insert - Extra Deep! For Tamarack Angler Weber Tioga Kokanee and More. Increase Usable Space!

Got these for a 4th of July float . They fit our kayaks perfectly. They came with cell phone water proof cases. We used them in the containers and at the end of a 6 hour float we had a little water in our kayak cavity but none in the containers. Everything in them stayed dry.

I bought this for a Lifetime Tamarack kayak. The product is simply too tall to allow the hatch to close and seal properly. It's about 1/2" too tall. It does sit on the inside of the bottom hull, so there's nothing you can do to "push it down". Even if it were a 1/2 inch shorter, it would not fit snuggly into the hatch opening and will rattle around. I do not recommend this product if you are planning to use it in a Lifetime Tamarack kayak.

Fit well in my new tamarack 10-ft fishing kayak. I love the fact that it is a deep container so you can actually store a few things in it as opposed to the other manufacturers products which are only about 4" deep which is good for car keys and wallet but not much else. The fact that it came with a surprise gift just added to the value of this product. Highly recommend. Remember that lifetime taramak kayaks have two different size storage containers and this one fit the container towards the front of the kayak. The other storage area has a larger size diameter. I did not investigate to see if this manufacturer makes a larger diameter insert for the back storage cutout.

The media could not be loaded. Bought this for my lifetime Tamarack kayak. I referenced the dimensions shown in the photos to measure my kayak opening and depth prior to ordering and they were spot on and it fit perfect.Easily fits my phone, keys, a 20 ounce soda, and a two dozen carton of nightcrawlers inside. Seems like it would work well for a short term cooler with ice as well.Seems very well-made. I actually stood on it to reach something on the shelf in my garage before installing it and it held my weight no problem so I'm not worried about durability.Shipped very quickly and was packaged well. This is a nice, low priced, easy solution to begin utilizing the hatch storage area in my kayak and I love the fact I can easily remove it and stuff other items around in the hull as needed before putting it back in. 100% recommend!

These are nice storage well containers for my Lifetime Tioga Angler Kayak, They do not fit snug. I purchased some Gorilla Glue tape to increase the diameter in the front. It fits pretty well. The back well of my kayak was larger, and I did not buy enough tape. Wound up wrapping the remainder with electrical tape, running some pilot holes, and pop riveting it in place. It will take some tinker work but they work.

The media could not be loaded. I just bought two kayaks and jimmy rigged a bucket out of a vinegar jug for my hatch, as I waited for these. I ordered two, one for each kayak for my front hatch only. I am getting dry bags for the back hatches. These fit perfect in height. The seller provided these rubber strips if the bucket sits to low. I didn't have that problem but I didn't like that the bucket didn't sit snug. It will nut me up if I am paddling and the bucket is moving back and forth in the hatch. To fix this I took one of the rubber strips provided and placed it just under the lip of the hatch inside and pushed the bucket in toward the rubber strip and that took care of it. Its snug as a bug. Very happy with my purchase. The seller included a waterproof phone pouch that will fit in the bucket of your hatch.

It’s a plastic 1 gal paint bucket if not it’s the exact dimension of a paint bucket, you could buy an empty plastic paint bucket at the hardware store for a quarter of the price.

I have 2 lifetime tamaracks fits the same in both. It is like 1/4 inch to tall to sit flush. Does not fit snug. So it wobbles. With the lid on you might not notice. I literally took a vacuum belt. That’s basically a huge rubber band on the top. Below the lip. Mad it fit snug at least. As I did not want to return to end up with a shallow one. Also reading reviews I’m a lil disappointed in how it was made. Not heavy plastic like some claim. As I have tupperware that is 2 times as thick. lol. But it does serve its purpose. I do love that it does not have no cut outs. To do a better job as keeping things dry
