Q: Can this product be used in the toilet cistern?

Yes we have used it in the cistern for descaleing. Best with hot water as works quicker but if left overnight it should do the job

Q: Are there instructions in English on the bottle please? I have a clear glass kettle, am hoping it would be suitable for this?

Yes & yes...I have a glass kettle (with blue LEDs) and I descale every month. it still looks pristine & the Kilrock hasn't damaged it at all.

Q: Does it contain muriatic acid?

There’s no Hcl in this , it’s just Formic acid (CH2O2)

Q: Can this be used on plastic shower heads?

Yes use it on the shower head all the time. I put some hot water in a washing up bowl then the same amount of kilcock and soak the shower head.
