These are really great. The look great and are very durable.

I was pleased with this cutlery for the price. You get so much bang for your buck. Just go into it knowing that, eventually, the black is going to wear away. How to avoid this? Regardless of what it says, don't put it in the dishwasher; don't use a rough surface when you wash it. It'll last far longer.

This is a beautiful blackish type stainless steel flatware. It comes with a tray to put the flatware in. That was quite a positive surprise for me. I hand wash and dried each piece. Still let it air out a little bit and put it in the tray. I know someone that has the same set. They put it through the dishwasher and it is starting to rust, probably two years later. It doesn’t say dishwasher safe instructions. But I will wash and dry them By hand.

So far, I am really liking this silverware set. They have a nice feel/weight to them. I'm hand washing them (other reviews indicated the black coating can wear off over time although they do claim to be dishwasher safe.The steak knives are a bit of a disappointment. They look fine but are definitely not steak knives ... pretty lightweight but usable for other applications. It's also a bonus (for me) that the larger forks are actually noticeably larger. In a lot of the sets, the difference is barely noticeable. I happen to like the large forks whereas my room mate prefers the smaller ones. This is particularly handy if you are a fan of utilizing deep bowls for salads, grain dishes, etc as you don't have to stick your hand inside the bowl to eat the last 1/3 of your food.I also like that the sorting tray (included) is smaller as it turns out we have smaller than average drawers (had to return the first set we bought). The contents are the same as larger items (8 person set) ... just a smaller tray so measuring your drawer space before ordering might be a good idea.All in all I am very happy with this purchase.

I love this silverware set!! I’ve had it for almost a year and it looks the same as when I first bought it. It’s not extremely heavy like good expensive silverware would be, but not light and flimsy like cheap silverware. It’s perfect for everyday use. We use the set daily and I have had no discoloration of any kind. The steak knives are extremely sharp. The quality is wonderful and I would definitely buy another set.

I don't have anything terrible to say about this set, but I do have slight regret. First off, the price is fantastic for the amount of silverware you get. The utensils are all good weight and fit comfortable in your hand. I hate the steak knives - which I didn't purchase this set for but they are very light (although very sharp) and have these oil like marks after washing I can not get off. The forks have this ever so faint silver tip along the edge of the tines, which isn't a big deal but something I noticed. I really wanted to love this set, and while I do like it, I doubt it will hold up long term. With that said, I do feel yu get an amazing amount for your money and if you use these for maybe larger get togethers rather than everyday, they may hold up
