Purchased to replace the key fob for our Zafira when the button covers broke. It feels good and solid and is an almost exact replacement. Comes with a full set of tools required and instructions on how to swap the parts. Only takes a few minutes to complete. Well worth it so far.

I damaged the key case for my Vauxhall Mokka last week and after some eye watering quotations from Various Locksmiths, cheapest being in region of £55.00 I made a search on Amazon and found this product.It arrived yesterday and after watching a YouTube installation Video I went to work, a it took be about 10 minutes to carry out the task and worked first time. The accompanying Tool Kit was a great help.This is a very good product and I highly recommend it

The buttons on my original keys had failed (pushed in). These keys were a perfect replacement. A bit of a fiddly job to be sure, but I was able to swap over the keyblades and the internals successfully. I've knocked off a star as the video "instructions" were pretty poor, but I was able to find a better demo on YouTube and all went well.

The item very good when you get it fitted But I had to cut my key fob apart with hacksaw to get the printed sircuit out That to me was the hard bite Then you replace the rest from old fob to new Bit fiddley but they give you tools to help you out Once complate like new again With new battary in the kit Witch is good the problem is the old key fob All glue up So you cant take it apart

With some trepidation I took a punt on this to replace my Insignia key shell which was splitting around the buttons. Everything you need is in the kit, but watch the video in the listing to see how to do it as there's no printed instructions. The tools supplied are good quality and easy to use. A couple of tips, make sure you wind the spring the correct way (anticlockwise), I didn't pay attention on the first attempt ant the result the flip blade remained sprung shut; that said, that was my fault and nothing to do with the kit. To open the shells I used external circlip pliers rather than the little screwdriver in the kit. Overall, I'm very pleased with the result and would recommend this as a DIY repair.

The tool used to open the old case is nowhere near strong enough and bent as I applied pressure. Ended up having to just use a screwdriver and break the original case. Configured the case as is shown in the video where it worked for roughly a week before the casing exploded open when I went to start the car leaving me stuck with no way to turn the key. Managed to get home and attempted to put the case together again but the spring is completely useless and will no longer fit in the case, the case also won't stay closed and just opens if any pressure is applied to the key in the ignition. Do not buy this product, spend a little bit extra to get a better quality product to reduce the danger of becoming stuck without a key completely.

Worked a treat, just follow the instructions & you will be fine. Also comes with the little kit which is handy if it happens again!

The media could not be loaded. I don’t generally write reviews but this one is worth it. Bought this as a replacement for my 2015 Vauxhall Astra, it came with tools and video. It is very straightforward, I didn’t need to file anything. It was just a little stiff to open so I put WD40 and it helped -it’s a replacement at the end of the day. Overall very satisfied, the only thing you don’t know if it’s your first time is that the original key fob is not meant to be opened because they want you to get a new one from the car dealer, that itself took me just over an hour - I almost gave up! Not sure how long it’ll last but it looks durable.
