I have weakness in my hand I was always having to ask my work colleagues to open the ring pull cans I thought I'd try this what a game changer it's absolutely brilliant easy to use opens tuna cans easy it's safe to leave around

This has been a godsend to me as I have lost a lot of my strength and mobility in my hands and bodyI have used electric tin opener but can’t handle it anymore and tins have ring pulls mostly which my mobility means can’t use my fingers as before to pull ring up and openMy friend showed me this plastic opener as I live on my own have not eaten a hot simple meal as could not open the tin lid to access contents she said it is easy to use and half the price of some of the other ones recommendedSo I ordered it came next day and it looked quite flimsy light to hold easy simple little hook attached one endWas dubious about ability to open anything but went in kitchen and tried a tin of soup just put hook end under slightly raised ring pull and pushed up the other end of my opener gently and the ring pull popped openI was amazed how it worked and have been able to access a warm meal etcGreat Aid for independent living great value for moneyOnly draw back wish it had a hole on the hand holding end for a string loop to go through so can be put on a hook for easier picking up and not being put in a cutlery draw by well meaning peopleBut my blue friend and I are buddies I keep him in a jug on the counter so is easy access to use everyday

Good product for the price, opens the tins easily and makes opening tins very easy for my wife who has authritis in her hands. Not the best quality but for 1.99 delivered we can buy another one.

Very useful gadget

Bought this because I have fibromyalgia and though I don't use tinned food very often, I still struggle with gripping/strength and dexterity using the pulls because of my condition. So I have used this twice now. The first time, it open can two millimetres and then broke the ring pull off, I ended up having to pry the lid off with a screwdriver and got tomato juice everywhere. The second time, the tin did not even open, the ring came up then just snapped off, so I had to turn it upside down and struggle with a tin opener. Before using this product I never had this happen, even when I would use whatever I had at hand to help manoeuvre the ring pull, I never had it snap off. I followed the instructions exactly and it still does it both times I use it. A complete waste of money and utterly useless. I would say do not bother with this at all, get something straight and solid and use it like a lever instead because this does not work.
