As an individual with naturally curly hair, finding the perfect styling product that can provide both firm hold and ample moisture has always proven to be quite a challenge. My curls remained well-defined and held in place throughout the day, even in humid conditions. This is one of the best products I have ever used on my 4C Wash and Go. My hair is soft and retains moisture as oppose to becoming dry as straw. I use the entire line and I love it.

I have natural curls and friz and basically only wash and let air dry my hair for 90% of my life, ugh. In my 60s now, lol, yes, old...I am sick and tired with this puff mob and I started reading up on hair products, leading me to something like this gel cream here. I'll be honest. I wanted a different brand that was praised everywhere but I decided on what I thought was the next best one...and cheaper, so I ordered it.Well. Washed my hair. Waited half an hour to air dry somewhat and then I used like half a tsp of this gel, spread it into both hands and very lightly crunched my hands into my hair, all over. I could immediately see cute, little curls forming. After my hair was dry, I just used a pick to comb it the way I wanted it but it only took about 5 seconds because everything already looked pretty good. I am impressed. This gel is not Rick hard or too stiff but may be that is because I used so little? However, just use little then. It feels good. Looks good and smells good. Ingredients seem to be decent, too and price is very good. Try it. I will definitely use this product now over and over.

The media could not be loaded. I was definitely skeptical at first considering the lawsuit... However my normal brand of curl custard (tgin) was not in stock and CUSTARD seems to be the only thing that gives me the curl definition I need (I use this for my retwist)! I must say I am impressed!! This will give your hair a soft flowy feel ...does not leave crunchy residue at all... it gave me the curl definition I was looking for along with keeping elongated curls throughout the day... my hair did not shrink at all!! I only gave it four stars due to it is not the textured custard I am used to... it's definitely more jelly and I find myself having to do touch up my retwist more often. I choose not to apply a blow dryer to it once I've done my twist set. I like it to be a little damp in the morning when I untwist them that way I'm able to just run my finger through them to unravel each twist with ease!! I would definitely buy again!!

I found this product while browsing Amazon. I have tried other Mielle products, but I hadn’t seen this one before. I read the reviews and figured I’d give it a try. I don’t know what my hair type is, but I think it is a 4A or 4B. I did a wash and go with this product and it turned out FANTASTIC. I also tried it on my daughter’s hair and I know for sure she has 4C hair. It also did FANTASTIC on her hair. It did leave a white cast in our hair, however after carefully reading the instructions I tried it again on my hair and had almost no cast at all! Follow the directions. Your hair has to be soaking wet. The white cast was from using too much leave in conditioner. Make sure to use an oil as well. When I did this I had no white cast. You may have to play around to see what amounts of leave in conditioner and hair oil to use to avoid the white cast. I’m going to try it again on my daughter’s hair in a few weeks. This curl custard smells amazing and gives a good hold. You can always scrunch the curls with a bit of oil on your hands if it’s a bit crunchy. Our wash and gos lasted for a week and a half. They could have went longer had we not wanted to wash our hair We slept in silk bonnets and our hair held it’s curls perfectly for over a week!
