So handy! I've been attending a lot of virtual meetings and wanted to improve my setup. Initially, I tried placing a lightstand next to my desk, but it took up a lot of space and I couldn't position the light to a flattering angle. Since this smaller stand attaches to my desk, I can place it right behind my computer so light hits more of my face, and it's out of the way so I'm not bumping into it. Much better! The arm can be raised, lowered, or turned, so it's great for a webcam. I have other SmallRig products and have never been disappointed with the quality and sturdiness.

Sturdy and versatile

Great for a YouTube setup

Takes up way less space than even a small tripod on my desk and is much more sturdy for mounting a camera on. One thing to know is that the top doesn't have a release (I bought one to add) and the top also isn't completely solid so that the camera swivels a couple of degrees freely. I find myself nudging it back. Overall this was a great purchase and helps my desk workflow by giving me back space

The build quality is strong and grips well. My reduce stayed in place and was easy to mount an acrylic plate. The height adjustment is not that high and could benefit from some extra length. My only issue is that it came used and scratched.
