Very flexible
This was perfect I have a desk with a drawer in it I can slip the legs into the decks desk an extend it out to my nice comfy chair and sit and look up my four monitors The mousepad is a little flimsy but it works if I keep my arm on the side of the chair but I would buy this again hopefully it doesn't come to that it seems like it's well built The joints are all tight there's so many ways you can angle this it's pretty incredible I wished I'd have tried this first instead of the ones that connect to the bottom of my chair which my chair was too big for the one that connects to the pole to my monitor which was too short this is perfect thank you

Simply not what I expected
Very flimsy product was expecting it to be easily adjustable. You have to press buttons on both sides in order for it to adjust and it’s not smooth it clicks to each adjusting point you have to match each side in order to have it adjusted evenly. I would not recommend this product.

adjustable, compact, and can still easily work under it!
I've tested this against several high-end, premium adjustable desks and converters—some costing 2 to 4 times more than this one.Surprisingly, this came out as the overall winner for several reasons:Effortless Adjustment – It's extremely easy to raise or lower, even with one hand (just make sure gauge setting on both left and right sides matches!).Compact Design – It takes up minimal space yet supports everything I need.Seated Comfort – I can still work comfortably beneath it when seated.Lightweight & Portable – It's easy to slide to the side or reposition when needed.🔧 Minor Drawback: The bottom is a bit slippery on smooth surfaces.✅ Easy Fix: I simply added some stick-on rubber pads (leftover from assembling other office furniture), and now it's rock solid!

Leaves much to be desired, but I found a way to manage.
I needed an elevated keyboard because sitting too long cuts off circulation to my feet causing toe tingle. So with this product, I found I had to do some things.Problem (1) : Mouse pad really flimsy and too small for two mouses. It flexes under pressure.Solution: I did away with it and just set a wooden platform having a larger surface to the right of the keyboard riser.Problem (2) : Things moving about as others have complained:Solution: Some rubber grip shelf liner does the trick when placed under moving parts. Everything stays put with that stuff.Problem (3) : When I get tired of standing and need to sit, it's very troublesome to re-adjust the keyboard riser each time. You change one thing and it seems to alter another thing like angle.Solution: I just left it on a desired high setting and angle, then got an office chair that has a longer cylinder for extra height. The chair goes from 23" off the floor seated to 30" total height. It's easier to get into the chair at the highest point using a shallow step stool.A monitor swing arm is really nice to go with this keyboard riser product. It allows a much greater monitor height for standing along with a two way tilt action. Can also swing it down really low. You can pull it as close as you want right to the edge of your keyboard, tilt it like a table top and look down into the monitor while you stand and type! You can move it aside parallel with another monitor, or just twirl it out of the way completely. The one I have is extremely low priced almost give away for something so strong and sturdy that easily holds a large monitor. Search Amazon for “Mountup single monitor desktop”.

2.5 stars is about right!
UPDATE: I decided to keep this thing. But I'm still annoyed with the product and the company. They claim to be about ergonomics (it's in their company name), but I don't think these W Virginia boys got anything on their minds other than grabbing for some cash. C'mon boys - WVA deserves better (and so do your customers). Here are the problems that still exist with this so-called "ergonomic" product: 1) if you plan to use the separate mousepad, it's impossible to get it into the stand (you can see the trouble I had below), unless you know the secret: you have to make sure to place the mousepad connector into the frame properly BEFORE you set the stand up. If you set the stand up first, the leg underneath will probably butt up against the platform (for greater stability), but this is what blocks you from then inserting the mousepad connector. Instead, make sure there is room between the leg and the platform before you insert the mousepad connector. After connector is installed, then set up the stand. This wasn't mentioned in the instructions. In fact, the instructions imply that you should set the stand up first before inserting the mousepad. (But this would only work if you also made sure there was room between the leg and platform or set up the mousepad first.) 2) The instructions (or their product description above) don't give the dimensions for the unit as it sits on the desktop, i.e., how much desktop space does it actually need to stand up? I really needed this info and sure enough it's too big but it has enough space on the desktop to be stable. I would not own if this product if there was another on the market that was competitive. I encourage you to look elsewhere and then if this is the only product that might work best for you, score it then to reduce your own likelihood of annoyance._________ORIGINAL: This product is not a bad idea. It's just poorly executed. It's very light and not so stable but if you're only touching it to type it's OK. The absolute showstopper though is that the mouse pad does not affix properly to the stand no matter what you do. What I received is so poorly engineered that I think there is a chance that the metal attachment sent for the mouse pad is the wrong part. The poor design of the unit with respect to the mouse pad renders the product unusable. Also, the product is trying to do too much. It has enough room on top for a laptop. That's not what I wanted. I just want it wide enough to hold a keyboard and it barely fits on my limited desktop area - part of it hangs off the edge because it has way more depth than needed for a keyboard tray. I must say that it is annoying to buy an ergonomic product only to find out that it is not ergonomic at all and can't even be used. Uncaged Ergonomics? I don't think so. The ergonomics here are quite well caged in my opinion. I suggest you move on to consider other products as I will...
