Study for FE PE Power On Demand and Live Training Session are a guarantee success road map.
"Study Guide for PE Electrical and Computer" is, hands down, one of the best resources I've ever encountered for anyone preparing for the PE Power Exam. From the very first chapter, it’s clear that this book isn’t just another run-of-the-mill collection of formulas and practice problems—it’s a true masterclass in understanding the concepts behind the questions. What sets this guide apart is its remarkable attention to conceptual clarity. Instead of pushing rote memorization, it patiently walks you through the "why" and "how" of every topic—whether it's power systems, protection, machines, or electronics. Every chapter is designed to deepen your actual understanding, making it easier to tackle not just familiar problems, but also the inevitable curveballs the exam will throw your way.The explanations are incredibly thorough without being overwhelming. Diagrams are clean and purposeful, examples are worked through methodically, and key takeaways are emphasized just enough to drive them home without feeling repetitive. It's clear the authors deeply understand what test-takers struggle with and have gone the extra mile to make sure no reader is left confused or guessing. In short, this book is worth every penny. It’s not just a study guide—it's an investment in your career. Whether you're just beginning your preparation or looking for that final push to reach exam-day readiness, "Study Guide for PE Electrical and Computer" will absolutely be one of the best resources you can buy. You’ll walk into the exam with not just knowledge, but confidence—and that's priceless.Highly, highly recommended to anyone serious about passing the PE Power Exam!

Mastering the Basics
It's hard to find practice problems to master the basics of this exam, and I felt like this book did exactly that. Lots and lots of reps. This books helps you master the underlying equations and concepts to be able to move on to more complex and deep practice problems. It's well organized with great solutions and serves as an excellent study aid to pinpoint the areas you need to focus on more. I passed the PE Power in my first attempt with the use of this book (and Wasim's other exam-prep resources).

Highly Recommend
I cannot recommend the Study Guide for PE Electrical and Computer - Power Exam enough! This resource was absolutely essential in my preparation for the PE Power exam, which I passed on my first attempt. The guide’s structure is incredibly well-organized, with over 700 solved problems that mirror the format and difficulty of the actual NCEES® PE Power CBT Exam. The detailed solutions provided for each problem were invaluable—they didn’t just show the answers but also explained the concepts thoroughly, helping me achieve a deeper understanding of the material. What sets this guide apart is its alignment with the NCEES® PE Power exam specifications. The problems cover all critical areas, including power systems, machines, protection, and more, ensuring nothing is left out. Whether you're brushing up on fundamentals or tackling advanced topics, this study guide prepares you for every scenario you might encounter during the exam. Thanks to this resource, I went into the exam feeling confident and well-prepared. Essential Resource for PE Power Exam Success
I passed the PE Power exam on my first attempt, and Wasim Asghar’s PE Power Study Guide was a key reason for my success. The book is clear, well-structured, and packed with relevant practice problems that mirror the real exam. I highly recommend it to anyone preparing for the PE Power exam.

Good indicator of how you comprehend the questions, and best paired with on-demand/live course.
Similarly to the FE study guide, there are many topics of Electrical Engineering covered within the study guide; the difference between the FE and the PE study guide use would be through getting through practice problems. The FE Study guide from Wasim which I used within 3 months of passing my FE the first try I was able to go through it once and understand the logic of the questions being asked; Now this is not how the PE exam should be studied as the test has a different approach from randomizing the order of topic questions to the depth vs breadth of the exam. This PE Study Guide is testing if you can see through the questions' theory, and not just mathematical approach. Your incorrect answers can be corrected with the proper understanding which can then be realized either through the on-demand or live lecture courses or generally you can email him in which he punctual in responding to your emails within a day or two.I am still going through the study guide, but I had realized I was able to relearn/truly learn for the first time for things which I may have completely forgotten or never fundamentally understood throughout undergrad. This book has great coverage for the inexperienced but recent graduate who knows the arithmetic but not theory, to the most experienced power systems engineer who need to brush up on their arithmetic and understand the theory.I highly recommend Wasim's study material as it is affordable in comparison to other study resources(even if you have company expense for your study material I still highly recommend it because Kaplan is essentially double the price for the answers and not truly understanding the material), you'll get the best bang for buck out of whatever you get from Wasim. Also in comparison to Zach Stone, I did review a bit of his material, but it seems that his material is a bit side-tracked(he accommodates more to the person's feelings which takes up a bit more time), and in comparison Wasim is very straightforward and direct.Edit: passed, and with very little doubt going in, and even more confidence coming out than I did with the FE. I clocked in about 500-550 hours of study time overall with the on-demand course, Study guide/Live lecture. I highly recommend this course if you are looking to study for the Power PE, as well as if you had failed previously and need a great resource for all the reasons stated above; best bang for buck and overall definitely enough for a non-power systems engineer to pass. I am an electrical estimator with a an electrical engineering degree plus a third assistant engineer USCG Certified license, but no in depth power systems knowledge previous to this course.
