Q: this requires a usb-c port? will it work with a c to a adapter?

Yes, it worked well for me with a USB adapter.

Q: Just received and set this up....does it not work as a speaker for other things too, like videos on the internet? Can't figure out if it's user error!

I use mine for everything, I imagine you have the other things (internet , video) selected to something else in windows settings of sound device. I've run into that..

Q: Does pressing the mute button on the device show you as muted in teams to others?

For me yes it does. If I select mute on my computer screen, the mute button on the USB-C speaker lights up. If I push the button on the speaker the indicator on my computer Teams meeting shows mute.

Q: Mine did not come with any paperwork. Where is the power button? What exactly does the teams button do, because when I press it nothing happens?

The teams button can be used to raise your hand if you’re having a conference. Also change your speaker settings on your teams settings so that you’ll hear play back

Good Mic and Speakerphone Quality

Really well made conference speaker for WFH set up. I was very sceptical about the mic quality and background noise cancellation. But it very well met my expectations and is better than expected and better than the YouTube reviews say. It easily cancels out non-human background noise like Indian household chores noises like pressure cookers, Ceiling Fans, TV outside the work room etc. The speakers are very good and enough for conference calls at full volume and lot better than inbuilt laptop speakers. If you don't mind a hard wired, non-bluetooth conference speakers and if this is within your budget, go for it. I have tried Plantronics Sync 20 and returned it cos it didn't cancel background noises at all. But this one does a very good job at it an your voice reaches the other side clearly. Happy with this purchase. The shipping took time, but understandable considering it is being imported. It is also costlier than US for the same reason. Thanks to the seller for making it available in Indian market .
