Fisher-Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera, Pink

I bought the Fisher Price Kid-Tough Digital Camera for my 3 and 1/2 year old granddaughter. She absolutely loved it! She took 150 pictures during the next five hours of our family party. She had no trouble using it and viewing the pictures. It is a terrific little camera for children. We love it!

I purchased this FP digital camera for my granddaughter's third birthday. It was a big hit. She loved taking pictures of family, friends, pets and of course the floor and blank walls as well. She so enjoyed looking at her masterpieces on the computer. This is really a well made camera for such a young child. I would give it the highest recommendation. Amazon was quick to process, but the shipping was a little slow. Her birthday comes as the Christmas season is fast approaching. This year most shipping was slower than in past years.

My 2 1/2 yr old loves this toy. The screen is a bit blurry, but she carries it with her everywhere she goes.

We had this camera for over 5 years. Super rough and tough! It has been dropped, drawn on, gotten wet, hit other kids with as a weapon, and taken over 400 photos. This camera has seen it all-literally. It had pictures on it of people that have since passed away that were so precious to us. We would scroll through the 400 or so pics and sigh and say "oh look Sammie as a newborn" (she is starting Kinder in September). "Look at Mrs. ____ when she was still alive before she died of cancer." Etc. I never had a cord to take the photos off and I just put it off to 'one day'. I had kept the camera in my sock drawer for the last 2 or so years to protect it until the day we removed them. Well that was today.My hubby found a perfect cord that fit! Drum roll please! We were all hovering over my PC to see them large and saved (even though we knew they would be grainy). Poof. Deleted. All gone.I have been reading other reviews, and this has happened to many others. My husband is an I.T. guy that builds websites for a living. This was not done by an inexperienced guy.This was sickening to lose all of those photos. What a let down.

I purchased this camera for my granddaughter's 3rd birthday and it was THE favorite present. It's simple to operate so she was able to take pictures of everyone and could see them just like on Mommy's camera. It's sturdy and won't break in spite of little fingers dropping it. And we could down load the good pics. Well worth the price.

Great toy, but the only flaw is that in the Amazon web page it states 128 MB of internal memory but on the toy itself it comes with only 64MB of memory.

We purchased this camera for our 4 year old. It will hold up to a 1 GB SD card. It is a 1.3 megapixel camera on high resolution, but the photos appear to be taken with a .3 megapixel camera. It is very easy for her to use, but I am going to take it back and spend a little more money and get her a real camera. We travel a lot and I find that the kids occasionally take some really good photos. And they take them from a completely different perspective. If you want a toy for your toddler to learn how to take photos and you don't care about the quality then this is the camera for you. If you have any desire whatsoever to use the photos, then avoid this camera.

We bought this for our 3-year-old and she was clearly disappointed by the low resolution. It also started locking up while scrolling through the photos taken. If it wasn't for the picture quality, we would have only requested a replacement and not a refund.This camera really is durable and toddler friendly with easy-to-use buttons.I recommend this camera for toddlers who don't have any experience with higher resolution cameras.

Meine Tochter (4) wollte auch fotografieren. Da sie, wie die meisten Kinder in diesem Alter, nicht sehr vorsichtig im Umgang mit ihren Sachen ist, war es mir besonders wichtig, dass ihre Kamera robust ist. Zudem muss sie sich auch von einer Vierjährigen problemlos bedienen lassen. Beides ist bei dieser Kamera konsequent berücksichtigt worden. Zudem ist das Design sehr ansprechend für kleine Mädchen. (Dass sich uns Erwachsenen die Fußnägel aufrollen, ist hier zweitrangig.)Die Qualität der Fotos ist, wie bereits mehrfach in Rezensionen angegeben, zwar wirklich grottig und hier könnte Fisher-Price auch mal ein wenig nachrüsten, aber es geht den Kids ums Fotografieren, nicht so sehr darum, die Fotos am Ende auch auf einem großen Bildschirm anzuschauen oder gar großformatig auszudrucken. Meine Tochter erfreut sich an den Bildern im Display - und am lustigen Ton, der ertönt, wenn sie das Bild dann löscht. (Ja, auch das Sounddesign ist kindgerecht.) Wenn sie so weit ist, dass sie ihre Bilder behalten und ausdrucken möchte, muss eine gunstige "normale" Digicam her. Aber das hat noch ein wenig Zeit und bis dahin hat sie im Umgang mit ihrer Fisher-Price-Kamera schon ein wenig gelernt, den Bildausschnitt zu beachten, im richtigen Moment abzudrücken etc.

Unsere Tochter hatte sich zu Weihnachten diese Kamera gewünscht und dann auch bekommen. Bisher hatte man ja im Familienalbum immer die Bilder aus der eigenen Perspektive. Diese Kamera bereichert unser Album nun um ganz neue, witzige und interessante Bilder! Toll!

très pratique pour un enfant à utiliser.très solide (2 ans d'utilisation et toujours pas casser^^)qualité de l'ecran situé à l'arriere de l'appareil pas très bonne. mais le rendu des photos est de qualité interessante. C'est pas des chefs d'oeuvre, mais au premier coup d'oeil on ne fait pas la différence avec des photos prises par un adulte.Seul hic, il necessite 4 petites piles et a priori les aime beaucoup. J'ai l'impression de changer les piles en permanence.

Dieses Geld könnte man eigentlich gleich zum Fenster rauswerfen, denn die Qualität der Bilder ist einfach nur unterirdisch. Dann lieber gar keine Kamera oder dem Kind eine günstige gebrauchte Digitalkamera schenken. Und wenn sie dann mal runterfällt und kaputtgeht, ist es halt Pech. Viel ärgerlicher ist das Geld, was wir vor einigen Jahren für diese Kamera ausgegeben habe (meine Schwester schenkte ihrem Sohn zum selben Weihnachten das Pendant in blau). Die Kinder haben nicht mehr als 10 oder 20 Bilder mit dieser Kamera geschossen.

Meine Tochter hat diese Kamera zum 5. Geburtstag bekommen. Sie hat viel Freude damit und schon hunderte Fotos gemacht. Für Kinder in dem Alter oder ev. noch etwas jünger ist es ein großer Spaß. Das Gerät ist robust und zeigt noch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen. Für kleine Kinderhände ist die Kamera als Einstiegsmodell prinzipiell geeignet. Die Ausbeute an qualitativ tragbaren Bildern ist aber schlecht. Bei hellem Tageslicht reicht die Lichtstärke. Der eingebaute Blitz ist viel zu schwach. Die Bildqualität lässt generell stark zu wünschen übrig. Sobald die Kinder etwas höhere Anforderungen stellen und enttäuscht sind, wenn viele (bis fast alle)Bilder unscharf sind, dann hat das Gerät ausgedient. Meine ältere Tochter hatte als Einstiegsgerät eine "echte" Digitalkamera. Diese überlebt keine Stürze, macht aber zu einem vergleichbaren Preis wesentlich hochwertigere Fotos und macht auch nach Jahren noch Spaß. Für die Altersgruppe der 5-Jährigen ist die Bedienung einer Erwachsenenkamera zu kompliziert.Fazit: die Fisher Kamera ist für kurze Zeit ein großer und robuster Spaß für Vorschulkinder. Sobald diese in der Lage sind, eine andere Kamera zu bedienen, haben sie mehr Freude an Bildern die qualitativ ausreichen, dass man sich auch später noch daran erfreut.
