Exceptional Multitool at a Great Price
The multitool is a fantastic addition to my toolkit, and it lives up to the stellar reputation of the Leatherman brand. Known for their quality and durability, Leatherman products have always impressed me, and this multitool is no exception. One of the standout features is its premium replaceable wire cutters, which are incredibly sharp and efficient. They handle tough materials with ease, making this tool invaluable for both everyday tasks and more demanding projects. The inclusion of a saw adds even more versatility, allowing me to tackle a wide range of tasks without reaching for additional tools. The compact and sturdy design ensures it fits comfortably in my hand and can withstand heavy use. It's the perfect size to carry with me, whether I'm at work, camping, or tackling DIY projects at home. What makes this multitool even more impressive is the fantastic price at which it was offered. It's rare to find such high quality and functionality at such an affordable cost. I'm thrilled with this purchase and highly recommend this multitool to anyone in need of a reliable, all-in-one tool solution.

Solidly built multitool
Like many have said, this tool is somewhat tight out of the box but I had no trouble opening the blades and other tools. Will apply a drop or two of oil and I'm sure it will loosen up a bit. Love how all blades lock into place for use and fold back in after pushing the release. Would have preferred the old style leather sheath but the nylon one seems like it will hold up a little better over time. (Leather ones show scuff marks through carrying) Cutting blades seem very sharp and all in all this multitool includes most of the tools I would need. Can't beat Leatherman quality. Very solid, high quality tool.

Leatherman is STILL making great tools !
Got my first Leatherman tool in the '90's as a gift and it was my EDC for years. A bit too bulky and heavy for me now, but I have one of these in my travel toolkit, and another one in my travel toiletry kit so I've always got SOME tools in my hotel room, of course, this has to go in you CHECKED bag if you're traveling.

Amazing Tool - Avoid Ordering from Amazon
The Rebar is a really solid, sturdy, full-size tool with everything you could want from a Leatherman. It has a high-quality awl, file, sawblade, and a built-in 3D Philip's head - all essentials for a larger multitool imo. It trades one-handed operability for budget and a smooth, sturdy outside with no hotspots to blister your hands. It comes very stiff—even more so than other Leatherman tools—but breaks in pretty well after a couple days of working the tools with oil. For these reasons I would easily give it 5 stars. It competes with the other full-size tools for half the price in some cases.HOWEVER, I must encourage anyone reading this review to buy this tool from other sources. As has been the case for me with other Amazon tools, my Rebar came in a scuffed-up box that had obviously been opened previously. There was also grime and lint on the outside and in the plier hinges that required a thorough soap-and-water rinse to remove. Not a great customer experience.I suspect that Amazon is often the destination for returned or defective products, even with legitimate brands like Leatherman and Victorinox. I'd recommend BladeHQ, the Leatherman website, or your local knife shop instead for a more reliable product.

Meh..a few gripes but very good, especially on sale
I feel like this tool has its attractive points but in this day In age, we need to change a few things1: Get rid of the 420HC steel. There are farrrr superior steels in the same price bracket (as far as cost to manufacture) like 154cm, 14C28N, D2 , I could go on and on honestly, my point is that the blade steels on these haven't changed since their release and I think that's a problem. Yes, there are other models (totally different tool sets) with upgraded steels but you should not have to buy an upgraded/expensive model to have a contemporary steel. By the way, I'm not saying that it should have the best of the best, I'm saying that they should come standard with something in the same price bracket such as one of the steels that I mentioned earlier.2: No pocket clip on a tool of this size is ridiculous. Period. point blank. If the P4 and Arc can have a clip, I don't see any reason why this one cannot. The wave is capable of having a clip, which came out over 20 years ago so it's definitely not a time related issue. Leatherman COULD DO THIS IF THEY WANTED, they just don't care enough about their consumers to listen, people have been asking for a clip on this tool since it's inception. All in all, it's a functional tool thats compact and versatile. It should hold up just fine..OH, BIG LETTERS HERE: DO NOT BUY THE $9 PROTECTION PLAN. LEATHERMANS HAVE A 25 YEAR WARRANTY. THEY WILL FIX WHATEVER BREAKS ON THE TOOL OR IF IT CANT BE FIXED DUE TO A CATASTROPHIC FAILURE, THEY WILL REPLACE THE TOOL. An Extra 9-10 bucks for a protection plan you don't need is just giving money away. Leatherman stands behind their products, they even have an upgraded warranty if you register your tool on their website, it takes it from 25 years to a 40-year warranty which is basically life. Once you hand it down to your son,if you haven't lost it by then 😆 and it's still standing up well, there's no need for a warranty. It's service life is complete.
