We would want to trim the length of this pad slightly. What would be the best instrument to use to make a clean cut of this material?

The foam is easily trimmed with a sewing scissor that has a 3 to 4 inch blade. The blade length helps in that you do not have to compress the foam as much when cutting it.

Will this pad be too big for a cot?

I've bought two of these, starting in 2015. I use them often on a cot while camping and they work great! I recommend getting the thicc 4" pad, as they do get squished down over time.

Will it fit a twin size mattress?

Great Support

Bought this for my then I'll grandpa, he unfortunately passed on the next day after. It was however donated to another elderly person. It provided great support to aid with sleep and we're told it's very durable even with cleaning.

Not all twins sent were 2" thick. Some only 1" thick

I've ordered a couple of these and only one of them was two inches thick the other was one inch thick but it was listed as two inch. You must check what you receive

Cheap quality and absolutely not 2 in thick

What we received is absolutely and unequivocally not the item shown or advertised. This pad is flat, made out of cheap material ( not the quality clearly shown in the product photos ) and most definitely is not 2 in thick even at its widest point. To say, I'm disappointed in the quality of this product is an understatement and the disappointment that this is a bait and switch that is allowed to be sold on Amazon.
