Pretty handy bread slicer! Like the ability to choose between thicker or thinner slices. Wife likes hers thin and I prefer thicker slices. Best of both worlds.Only downside I saw when I took it out of the box was that the bamboo decking had some splits in it like it was cracking. Might not be an issue, but a family member has the same slicer and theirs is solid, so not sure if this will be a problem.

Love this! One of the struggles of making my own bread was figuring out how many calories were in a slice. With this, I knew how many slices per loaf and knowing the calories was easy!

The openings for slicing are perfectly spaced for a knife & having 2 sizes for slices are so helpful. I do need to hold the bread or the whole thing slides a little, but I probably need to put down a towel or silicone pad like I use for cutting boards. A damp cloth wipes it clean & it folds back together easily to store.

Product description says it works for bagels, but it does NOT.

This thing is useless! I bake all of my own bread from white sandwich bread to sourdough. This can’t even handle my white bread! 1. The balsa wood panels do not fit into the slots securely so they wobble around while you are trying to cut. 2. The balsa wood guides catch on the knife and either stops your blade as you cut or shaves off little slivers of wood. So stupid to use balsa wood where knives are in use! The base is the only quality thing about this product. The functioning pieces are absolute junk. Don’t waste your money!
