Ideal for those looking for a sturdy cot that is EASY to set up!
This grandma has finally found a camping cot I can carry, set up by myself, and sleep on comfortably! I have a bad back and my hands aren't as strong as they used to be. Unlike the "army cot" styles I wrestled with unsuccessfully and had to return, this cot is very fast and easy to assemble ... and you don't need substantial muscle, leverage to stretch fabric to connect the last leg, or 2 people to complete assembly. My 8+ year old grandkids can set up this cot without needing help! This is the 28"x74" cot, with 15" or less of clearance underneath depending on how much sag you leave in the cot's fabric, which is adjustable for tension by turning the wing nuts in the legs. The other model is a wider 32x74. 250 pound capacity. There is also an XL Roll-a-Cot that is 32x84 with 18" maximum ground clearance and a third set of legs for extra weight support for 300 pound capacity. The cot design has no end bars, so you have the full length for sleeping or even hanging your toes over if needed. Pick the size that suits your needs. The design appears to be very sturdy and durable, and I've read numerous reviews that indicate long time owners have found this to be true. The support structure frame is premium grade aluminum alloy, and the top is a strong mesh of 1000 denier polyester with welded seams. The legs supporting the cot are vertical to the floor and are rubber capped, which should protect a tent floor. The mesh fabric bed will allow summer heat ventilation, but requires blocking the mesh and air flow for cooler weather use. People accustomed to the typical "army cot" solid fabric tops will find this cot needs the extra insulation sooner due to the mesh fabric. I prefer a bit more "yield with support" for sleeping and my partly inflated Therm-a-Rest camping pad fits the cot bed just fine for increased comfort. The rectangular mesh "pouch" used for cot storage also attaches to the side for small gear storage, as shown in the image. The carry handle is secured to both sides of the pouch, so don't try to separate it at that location thinking there is velcro. With a bit of creativity the bedside storage can be more useful as a "nightstand" instead of a single large pocket where smaller items might get harder to locate. Try adding velcro attached (or clip-on) smaller pockets sized to suit your typical smaller storage needs, such as a paperback book or flashlight. Or if you wear glasses, use a clip-on carry case so they are protected and found more easily later.A small, lightweight (just over 10 lbs.) footprint for storage and use, this cot would also be useful for an overnight guest. A bit too long (when collapsed) for backpacking hikers for any real distance, but it could be packed into the backcountry on a mule. Ideal for car camping, tent camping, backyard kid camping, etc., particularly for folks who don't want to wrestle with "major muscle required" cot assembly yet still end up with a sturdy, comfortable cot.The only regret in my investment is this cot design doesn't allow for the attachment of a "Cot Tree" at the foot of the cot where I can hang up my hat, coat, etc., to keep them off the tent floor. Perhaps I can adapt an old camera tripod ... ;-)

Awesome Customer support and service.
I ordered 2 cots. 1from Amazon Warehouse and the 2nd from Camp time website's Blemished site. Both were defective. I contacted Camptime directly and explained the issue. They then sent replacements overnight! Customer service is more than 4 stars.I learned about this product from a reviewer for the copy cat version Teton cot. ( See my scathing review there/ Zero customer support). Yes, I paid more with Camptime versus Teton, but you really can't put a price customer support and reliability. Save some money check out the used options in Amazon and Blemished items on Camptimes website. Why I chose this cot.... Lightweight one of the lightest ones out there at 10 pounds. Sturdy. Easy to set up and take down. Fits over truck bed wheel well. High enough that I can easily stand up from like a normal bed.

Great cot for truck camping
Got it to use for truck camping. Fit perfectly in the standard bed of the Ram 1500. It took a couple times of practice to be able to quickly set it up, but once I figured out the trick it was easy. I like that there are only two sets of legs that fit on either side of the wheel well. Not many of those out there. It's a little taller than I would've liked, but feels very sturdy and comfortable. Add a pad underneath you to make it even better. Stores small and sets up well. Would recommend.

Tried, tested, taking on next trip.
Slept on one of these on a raft trip and liked it so much that I bought one for a car camping road trip planned for this summer because my 40ish year old body did not wake up with stiffness and pain after a night (seven nights) on it and I thought it would be faster to set up and take down than a blow up an air mattress (my other pain-free option) since plan is move camp every day on this fast-paced trip. Will use carpet squares to keep Hubby's favorite tent's floor from any possible, potential leg damage. Also, when it arrived the storage/bedside gear bag, which had been mesh on the raft trip, arrived as solid black fabric and when I contacted the company to ask why the change they said they make them both ways then mailed me a mesh one at no charge!

Pricey but worth it!
I couldn't believe how easy this was to put together. Easily assembled in less than 5 minutes and disassembled in even less. Extremely sturdy construction. I enjoy the "no middle bar" digging into your back. Nice and high enough off the ground. Carrying case is easy to attach and doubles as a storage compartment. I bought two of these. We, (my wife and I), tried them out for a night and found them very comfortable. Firmness is adjustable and I use a TETON Sports Adventurer Camping Pad for extra softness. Just as comfortable as my bed. Highly recommended. You get what you pay for. These are pricy but quality is excellent.

Strong and Comfortable
My wife and I have gone through several outfitter cots and these are by far the best. Way lighter and more compact they are just as strong and comfortable as any. To be honest we both sleep better on these cots. I'm a smidge over 6 feet tall and I never felt cramped in the least. Personally I like that there are not bars at the top or bottom to cause the bed to sink in center and I can scoot down and let my feet hang off (my preferred manner of sleeping). Best cot purchase we've ever made.

Excellent product.
These are extremely easy to use and fairly compact for cots that are a reasonable height. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cot. When you first unbox it it's easy to be a bit skeptical of the plastic mesh that the sleep surface is made of but it's more durable than you'd think. These hold up like a champ. The key to comfort is adjusting the wing nut for tension.
