Love it! I use it at every party. I’ve even taken pictures with other people because of it — haha!

Don't laugh at my picture, but I went to my first Mardi Gras parade and that's what I programmed my hat to say I got lots of compliments on the hat. I'm old. It took me a few minutes to figure out how to program it, but it was actually pretty easy.

The only issue I have is that the little battery and bluetooth transmitter is a bit bulky in the hat. They send it with that stuff stuffed into the side of the band of the hat. I removed it and I just put the hat on quickly so that stuff sits on the back of my head. It's not something that bothers me when I wear it. My head is a little big though so I wish the hat were just a little larger so it would fit better. That is my only complaint though. The app that 'talks' to the hat looks like it's from the 80's but it works quickly when you want to switch the words out to your liking. There are multiple ways you can put words and or symbols across the hat, it's very open as to what you can display. Great purchase.

This hat works great! Just plug it in and charge it. My nephew loves it!

Absolutely hit! Bought this for my husband's Birthday Party and everyone loved it. It's comfortable, app is easy to use. 1st time he wore it for 6 hours straight - battery life is great.

Purchased as gift and wanted to program display for recipient. Unfortunately just learning of all of the permissions required by the app in order to use it. You will not be able to use it unless you allow access to location (it crashes if you deny access). I did not proceed to find out what else is required but app reviews state mic, contacts, etc. will also be required or it will crash if denied. There are some default displayed programmed in hat already but I now I feel responsible to at lease warn recipient if the decide to personalize the hat. Scan the QR code they provided above to see for yourselves (I only wish I would have done that first).

It’s a cool idea but the product came delivered with the text strip backwards. It’s fixed to the right side so there is way to swap it to the left without citing parts of the hat and finding somewhere else to put the switch on the inside (like sewing in another loop). I’m going to keep it anyways because at least the DIY pixel drawing works and it’s the day before I leave for a concert so I won’t be able to get another one. Unfortunately it doesn’t look like there is a good quality hat in this space. After this concert, I might pull the led out and try to make my own hat.
