It spins specifically to align the moon cycle with the corresponding dates of the current month. So if the new moon starts on the 4th of this month, you make that alignment and then everything falls into place. So unless the moon starts to revolve at a different speed or we abandon the Gregorian calendar, you should be able to use it forever.

Is this a kosher or wiccan calendar

Planting based on moon phase is a very old approach to farming/gardening. I've never seen any references to pagan worship or religious basis. The Jewish calendar is based on the moon but a "Kosher" calendar? Really?

I followed this all through the growing season and got 13-foot sunflowers, tomato vines that grew all the way out of the 26-foot greenhouse, wow, and more. Sure, you can grow anytime, but follow the moon cycles and things get outta hand, and I love it. Small tool, big results. This will pay for itself.
