Do you need a adapter hose

Should fit without it. I checked with my local Autozone andvthryntold me it would fit without a hose. Have not tried it yet so am unable to confirm the correctness of the advice given.

how are you suppose to tilt the can back and forth with this product?

You dont move the can while using it.
