Simple, effective and discreet
Simple to use and very smaller and discreet so can be tucked away out of sight. Itâs well built and robust. Yes it is plastic but why does it need to be metal? It keeps the price and weight down. Setup was straight forward, plug and play as they say and Iâve had no problems with it at all. Iâve had no issues with signal drop or loss of quality either. So Iâm very pleased with this purchase.

Fast, Efficient and Budget-friendly
This network switch has been a great addition to my setup. Surprisingly, it was plug and play - it worked immediatelyâno app or advanced configuration was needed. I simply plugged in my devices, and it was up and running in just a couple of minutes. The design is modern, and the plastic feels sturdy, which suggests it is durable. In terms of performance, it doesnât seem to affect my internet speed - even when multiple devices are connected. One thing to remember is that while itâs straightforward, it doesn't have some advanced features you might find in more expensive models, such as power management options. Although, it is silent as its fanless. However, for the price, itâs an effective, affordable choice for anyone needing a basic, reliable network switch. I would recommend it for mainly home users

TP-Link LS1005G 5-Port Wallmount Gigabit Ethernet Switch - works great but my word it looks cheap as
TP-Link LS1005G 5-Port Wallmount Gigabit Ethernet SwitchI have a large metal TP Link ethernet switch in the loft so literally everything in the house apart from phones is on ethernet, all TV's, 2 PC's and 2 PS5's (I Hate WiFi), I bought this to put in my sons room so I could feed his TV, PC and PS5, it was easy to mount to the wall behind his TV and split off to the 3 devicesDon't get me wrong it works absolutely fine but my word when you take it out of the box and hold it in your hand it really gives you a sense of extreme cheapness, it's tiny and plastic and almost weightless, for what it needs to do it's fine but don't expect it to look or feel quality.

Very ideal for home networks, just plug and play!
This Tp-link network switch is brilliant! đNote: For me, my router isnât classing this switch as gigabit, i have another gigabit switch and it is there but not on this one.The build quality is superb and speeds are good, i purchased this to split a already ran ethernet cable going into a bedroom, it was just plug and play with no messing about and the size is very small good for small locations and it doesnât generate much heat at all! â I have connected my computer, xbox, a Tp-link access point and a raspberry pi what sends data to Flightradar24! âď¸

Super little network switches.
Superb, small form factor network switches. What do these actually do you might ask. They simply allow you to take an ethernet cable (aka CAT5, CAT5e, CAT6 and now CAT7) from the back of your home network router (your BT Superhub/Smarthub or Virgin Superhub), and plug it into any of the 5 ports on this thing. You then have four ports free to connect ethernet cables from to you other devices. I'm lucky in that our new house had preinstalled network sockets around the house, but the BT SmartHub didn't work very well in the cupboard under the stairs, so I moved it into the living room. Greath signal now, but I needed a way to "power" the other network plugs around the house. Enter these little beauties. I plugged an ethernet cable from my BT Smarthub into the nearest network wall socket. I then went to to cupboard under the stairs (where the other ends of all the house network sockets terminate). I found which socket had the incoming signal from the router (i.e. the corresponding socket termination, that was connected through the walls, into the BT Smarthub), and plugged an ethernet cable into this "switch". I then took the remaining four slots, and connected ethernet cables from them, into the other network sockets in the cupboard, and boom, high speed internet available where ever there is a socket in my house. Before this method, I had a BT Complete WiFi disc, which was wirelessly connected upstairs, down to the hub in the living room. The connection status was "Good". After using this network switch, and plugging in an ethernet cable into the disc upstairs, it's gone to "Excellent" connection. No, these switches won't improve your WiFi, instead they give you the option of a wired internet connection. Great price, great form factor, and a superb data throughput. Plastic casing, isn't unattractive, but does the job. Would buy again.

Fab little network switch
This is a fab little switch, small and light. I have hooked it up to my 2.5G switch to connect my TV/SkyQ/Xbox, which are all hidden nicely behind the TV and stand. It is excellent for basic networking and is a great price, too. I highly recommend it for a no-fuss, quick installation, for expanding your home network.
