I have two large-ish medium dogs -- 68# & 72#. Because they can and sometimes pull together in one direction, I used to loop the leash handles thru my belt. Unfortunately, in no time, during walks, the leashes inevitably get all twisted up. I got this swivel-and-caribiner set to solve that problem.Takes just seconds to click in and connect the leash loops to the swivel, and then the swivel to my belt. I particularly wanted carabiners with the safety knurled sleeves so there is *zero* chance the clips might accidently open possibly resulting in me having to chase down or losing my dogs. The swivel set has a very good corrosion-resistant finish, so it should be fine if we walk in the rain. Best part: it *automatically* untwists itself ifever/whenever my dogs weave around each other. The ball-bearing swivel is as smooth as can be! Hefty. Good quality. Should last the ages. ::thumbs up::

I am using this for a home gym pulley to prevent twist. This is a heavy duty swivel and as a bonus comes with 2 quite nice heavy duty lockable carabiners, nicer than the ubiquitous free carabiners that usually is a throw in.The ball bearing swivel makes the spin on this ridiculously smooth. I cannot really comment on longevity or durability, since my application is indoors in a garage on a low-weight pulley system, but as far as I can tell, this is a very nice and solidly machined swivel, leagues better than whatever you could find at a big box store...

I live in a winter climate so take my hanging swing down in the winter. And somehow over last winter managed to misplace the hardware that came with it. So this was my replacement of choice. Can't comment yet on how it holds up, but I am very happy with the design and would not go back to the hook and spring style that came with my swing if it does turn up. I feel like the carabiners are safer than the hook, and the ability to turn matters more than the minor bounce added by the spring, given that there is already play and movement in a swings ropes. Opening the carabiners takes a bit of manipulation but that is a positive, in that they won't inadvertently open.

I use these to keep squirrels from getting in my bird feeders! They work wonderful by spinning the little critters right off the feeder. Fun to watch and finally found a solution. My only complaint is they rust fairly easy and stop spinning. I’ve soaked them in white vinegar and sprayed with WD-40 and they came back to life. I imagine I’ll have to keep doing that in the future.

Very high quality and extremely smooth ride....Put them on our sky chairs and it's been quite windy lately..Ended up having to lasso them both from spinning so fast.....

I could not find any replacement bearing specifically made for a vertical wind spinner. This is extreme overkill (1200 lb capacity) for a 25 lb wind spinner, but it works.
